WI Bryan got the Democrat nomination in 1912. I assume that this requires Wilson out of the way and I am partly inspired by the thread mentioning his 1906 stroke.

I guess it would be hard for him to get the nomination but it would be really quite hard for a Democrat to lose with the Republican party so deeply split.

How radical could he have been on economic issues.

I gather Bryan did have racist tendencies (hard for someone to be Democrat i in that time without such views ) but might he have avoided formal segregation in DC.

Also what about WW1.

Might a different kind of neutrality have cost Britain and France WW1?
