It's pretty ironic that in a timeline when Democracy loses WWI, Communism gets much stronger than OTL.

Not commenting about the WI (I've rather had my fill of CP victory scenarios) but this wouldn't be the "second" French revolution. Depending on how you count, it would either be the fourth or the fifth.
