What about a longer WWII? In those six years, tech advanced incredibly quickly. By the end of Anglo-American Nazi War, it looks like tech is ahead of OTL's 1950s.
Thing is delta this is very hard to comment on as we don't know what the POD is or whats happened to cause this tech jump or diversion into other tech. If you could flesh out your idea a bit more then we could try discussing it more.
