@SargentHawk is this and the other poll for Best Contemporary TL the final ones? Just wondering because I know last year there were two rounds because of the number of TLs that were nominated.

Synopsis for Rockwell Flyer: The story of the X-33 and beyond

Historically, the selection of the builder for the second generation reusable launch vehicle went to Lockheed Martin in July of 1996 with their high-risk / high-reward triangular vehicle. Rockwell Flyer asks "What if it didn't go for the most technologically challenging proposal?", and runs from there exploring the impacts of taking a more conservative approach toward reusable launch vehicle development, and what follows.

Do you want pure chaos?
Do you want updates that make no sense?
Do you want Communist Bel- oh wait we’re not allowed to talk about that
Then vote for Twists and Turns or whatever

Do you like updates that cover sometimes weeks at a time instead of years?
Do you like updates about local politics and city council elections?
Do you want to see how to build a third party in the United States? Like actually from the ground up?

Then check out and vote for Green Revolution on the Golden Gate.

What if instead of 12 Apollo moonwalkers, we got 24?
What if the Apollo missions got a lot more interesting as they went by?
What if instead of a big shuttle, we got a different path to a different future in space?
What if this was only the beginning?

If you like tense, dramatic space missions; (hopefully) snappy dialogue; and a NASA that is unafraid to be big and bold, then check out Ocean of Storms.

If you don't like any of that... you should definitely vote for one of the other great timelines.
