2018 Presidential Election

Anyways, here's the infoboxes for the upcoming midterms:

TLyyO2a.png

  • The House election with an "unknown incumbent" is Ohio's 7th, which will be filled by a special election next month.
  • The two special elections for the Senate are California (where Gabe Tillman was appointed to fill Sam Seaborn's seat after the latter was elected president) and Kentucky (where Terrance H. Schraeder was appointed to replace James Lancaster after the latter died). Jack Hunter's Senate seat in Minnesota (now held by Democrat Peggy Jones) was scheduled to come up for reelection this year, so November's election for that seat is not a special election.
  • For Kentucky's Senate seats, the state is colored with the status of the regular election to the Class 2 seat (held by Democrat Calvin Bowles) and the box with the status of the special election to its Class 3 seat (held now by Schraeder).
  • De Haan & Liz Bartlet are this year's chairs of the Republican and Democratic governors associations, respectively.

The Republicans seem to be in a really good spot for the midterms. They may be better than even odds to take the House. In the Senate, a lot of red state Democrats up. Smith in Arkansas, Remick in Louisiana, Denning in Oklahoma, McCord in South Carolina.

Holy crap, a Democrat holds Tom Cotton's Senate seat ITTL. (Interesting)
And another Democrat holds Jim Inhofe's Senate seat.

Just a little something showing how the major sporting events might have played out in this world without a certain pandemic. My colleagues will be bringing US sports in the coming weeks, but here is how the English Premier Leagues looks going into it's final day.
Note: All the clubs players are as per the real world, the same goes for the Managers part from Leicester City whom we have established are managed by former England international Matt Smith.
