Teams/Mogadishu
Hi everyone
With the World Cup just a bit over a month away it is time for the 3rd Alternate History Football Association World Championship, the 2018 AH World Cup. Here's the 2010 and 2014 versions so you can see how it works.
Just like 2014 the steps are
1. Creating the teams/nations. Give your country a name and give a name for your football federation, create a kit and 23-Man roster. Other details like a flag, emblem, facts and the territory of your nation are also appreciated but not necessary. Countries can have different PODs, it doesn't really matter as long as it's not overly ASB (aliens, magic etc). 1 team per person unless we don't have enough teams
2. Organising the tournament. Choosing hosts, deciding the quality of each team, creating groups and organising matches.
3. Simulating matches. I'm not really sure how to go about this yet but I will probably figure it out if no one else knows.
4. Reporting the matches. These can be done in many different ways, just look at the two previous cups for inspiration.
Here's my submission
Nation: Mogadishu
Full Name: Republic of Mogadishu
Languages: Somali, Arabic
Population: 6 Million
Football Federation: Mogadishan Football Federation
National Stadium: Shangani Republican Stadium

History: One of the most densely populated nations in the world, Mogadishu has long held it's place as the dominant place of trade between East Africa and the Indian Ocean. During the First Somali War of Independence Mogadishu managed to secure independence from it's foreign rulers. Today, following several more wars of independence over Somalia, Mogadishu is the wealthiest state in the Somalian Confederation.
