How is Part I of my timeline eligible? Is it supposed to be Part II?

Updated in 2015 - the timeline as a whole would be eligible - as such, the typical thread link is to the first part of the series if they are split into more than one part.

But it won a Turtledove last year. Is Part II eligible even though Part I already won?

Crud - name changes - 'Part I' of your timeline won a Turtledove, didn't it? If so, continuations would not be eligible for this category (it was posted in Finished timelines so it would have been eligible in that category despite the Turtledove win).

Please confirm it's standing and identity.

The best compromise might be deleting it from this thread and carrying over its votes in the finished timeline competition (tricky but doable).

Part I (not called Part I at the time, though the name used in the OP is the name it had then) did win the Turtledove last time.

As a continuation of the same timeline, no, Part II would not be eligible for this category.

That's what I'd assumed, since it really very well could have been a direct continuation in the same thread, I just wanted a break for narrative purposes and to do revisions.

I don't think an awkward shift to the Finished Timelines poll is necessary; my TL won an award last year and if people wish they can nominate it for the Finished Timelines award next year.

Fair - thanks for catching this.

I will remove that choice - if anyone voted for Ruins and needs to have their vote changed, please PM me.
