I predict this to be one of the closest votes, especialy since it has my 3 favorite timelines in it (excluding my own).

Indeed, these are some of the best timelines on the board... Except for that last one, Imajin has no idea how to write AH... (Wait a second, am I in the lead? _

A pity that Historia Mundi of Dominus Novus not had begun in 2005, it had been one of the favourites.

Well,, the next year.

Hell no! I don't want to be in the competition against these guys. I felt bad enough having to pick one anyway, and that was with the relief of knowing that it was a secret ballot.

I realize it is a little late for this comment (I don’t get to the board as often as I would like any more). This may have already been addressed and I just didn’t notice. What about the TLs that were finished after last years awards but before the established deadline for the 2006 vote? For instance – my Persian Conquests was started in 2005 but after the awards for that year. I’m not going for any self promotion I freely admit there are better on the board then I but for those who are in the same boat and would have liked to have been nominated this year might have some grievances.

Though I do think my Glimpses of History is worth a nomination for something – now I am self promoting :)

Any timeline which had new material added to it between January 1, 2005 and December 31, 2005 was eligible. Unfortunately, the nominations are closed and voting has begun, so no new nominations can be accepted now.

Ah, don’t worry; I wasn’t trying to slip in my own nomination after the fact. Persian Conquests was started in May, so all is good. I just thought I caught a gap that some people may have fallen into, I must have miss read the cut off is all. No worries.

I will endure the blow to my ego, not one nomination.

Best of luck to everyone else!

By one vote! Great job, robert.

DominusNovus predicted this would be a very close race. He was evidently correct. But what can you expect when four such fine timelines are in competition? As far as I am concerned, they are all winners, even though only one award can be given.
