In the Iraq War was the entire conflict just proof that the American military is undefeatable conventionally, or does it not prove a thing due to how awful of a situation Iraq was in militarily and politically.

During the war the United States(And Britain, but primarily the United States) invaded Iraq and defeated Saddam Hussein in five weeks. The coalition took under 200 casualties and inflicted 45,000 casualties on to the Iraqi military.

Iraq however had to deal with a Kurdish rebellion, little to no support from its Shia population, endemic corruption in its military, outdated equipment, no airforce(They apparently had 90 planes that could be flown, a large number of which were buried in the desert before the invasion.) and a purged officer corps.(I'd be also be interested in hearing any other disadvantages Iraq had, I'm shocked at how incompetent they were in the war.)

The reason why I'm asking this question is that a friend of mine is claiming that the United States is capable of recreating American success in Iraq on against any country on earth if they desired to. In this case he's saying that the United States could defeat both Iran and North Korea militarily if it chose to.

Is he correct, did these flaws in Iraqi defense have little impact on the war and could the United States recreate their sucess against the Bathist government against other dictatorships such as North Korea and Iran.
