1960s/1970s Anti-Tax Movements beyond Scandinavia

The early 1960s and early 1970s saw the rise of anti-tax movements successfully transitioning into political movements in the Scandinavian nations of Denmark, Norway, and (with less success) Sweden. However, these political movements and their ideologies of economic liberalism combined with a soft nationalism & a vaguely populist rhetoric were never replicated elsewhere across Europe at the time, although one could argue that elements of them could be seen in the rise of monetarism in the likes of Thatcherism and Reaganism.

I'm curious for thoughts on this though, as well as thought & suggestions on how to have such movements occur and their potential for success, or failure but changing the political landscape & system, within Europe & beyond in the decade that was already vastly transformative for much of the world.
