1923: Hitler dies for the Fatherland in Münich

I believe there will be a War of some kind or another eventually.
Agreed.

If Germany doesn’t reject Versailles and remilitarize there is no counter to an aggressive and militarily powerful Soviet Union itching for expansion. Only a militarily strong western Europe can prevent Soviet expansion into Poland, Yugoslavia, etc. The growing fear of the USSR may lead to Britain, France, etc. canceling Germany's reparations. Can we get to a NATO position in the 1940s?

Now, Japan is in a pickle. They've just recently left the Anglo-Japan alliance. With no distraction in Europe, AND with the military industrial complexes in Britain, USA and France looking for trouble somewhere, Japan may be seen as the easiest country to stomp. Japan's best move is to offer to guard against USSR on the Korean-Manchurian border.

Thus, WWII as we now it is basically butterflied away because I doubt they would be willing to risk the sort of confrontation with Czechoslovakia and would seek to get back Danzig whilst Austria (in my mind anyway) is somewhat doubtful as Mussolini supported the fascist regime there. Another question is Poland, which signed a non-aggression pact with the Nazi regime only one year after Hitler assumed Poland so relations there might be more frosty if Schleicher believes it is better to see them vanquished rather than confronting the perceived red threat.

It's worth pointing out that many of the Valkyrie plotters that would have been involved in their projected post-Hitler government were keen to retain most of Germany's 'gains' in the East.
