Hi Guys,
I am trying to form the idea of a TL where a West African nation, converts to Christianity and using it's ties with Europe, as a way to survive and even prosper.
One of the aspects of this that I really want to focus on is the development of law, reforms and politics. I would attempt to introduce my own version of William Garrow, a Barrister reformer that created many of the laws that Britain still uses today.
Are there any books you guys can recommend? Any cases in particular? What were the real concerns of the time?
