1860: Alternate Administrations

As we all know, Abraham Lincoln won the presidential election of 1860. But say he didn't. Stephen Douglas, John C. Breckinridge, and John Bell all ran for the spot. While the likelihood of each of their being elected is highly debatable (as we've seen in innumerous posts on this board ), one does wonder how they would fare as Chief Executives. Or I do, at least.

So, how would a Douglas or Breckinridge or Bell Administration handle the chaotic political situation in which the USA found itself in the 1860s? Bonuses if you can give us a makeup of their Cabinets. Super bonus if you can mention likely Supreme Court nominees.
