It is set after 1900, but the POD is in 1827. This part will be from 1930 to 2030, the other will be from 962 to 1827.

The year is 1930.

The Imperial French Empire stands tall over America, the Pacific, China and much of Europe. To Francis IX, it seems like they have not just lost a war of immense proportions. But they have. A fascist revolution has taken place, and soon another war will come. The USSR stands a communist power, most not knowing whether it will slowly fade out, or become a new world power. Prussia's monarchy simply waits, seeing what is happening over the Channel.

And then there is the Commonwealth of British States. 104 years ago, it was a battleground of multiple kingdoms, but now, and especially after defeating France in the Great War, it was emerging as a power. And that was exactly what was to happen.

The idea is that it is sharing different timelines with POD:

Alfred the Great is never born to King Edgar, meaning the Vikings take much of England whilst the other kingdoms, notably Wessex and Mercia, fight for control. In 1837 William IV of Mercia dies. Rebels storm the palace, capture Princess Victoria and establish the Republic of Mercia. The next year, Wessex boots out Egbert XII, followed by rebellions in Northumberland. In 1840, the three nations unite, boot out the Danes and form the Commonwealth of British States.

For notice, the French are much more powerful due to Britain fighting each other.

The 1930 Election proves to be very decisive in the Commonwealth's future. Senator Ramsay Macdonald runs unopposed, Clement Attlee his running mate, whilst President Baldwin sees off challenge from a small number of junior ministers. Ex-Vice President HH Asquith runs generally unopposed. The results are as follows:
1st Round
Senator Ramsay Macdonald, Federal Socialist Party, 5,221,965
President Stanley Baldwin, Conservative Party, 4,976,888
Senator H.H Asquith, 2,002,721 - ELIMINATED

2nd Round

Macdonald is elected President, but what about the Senate Elections?

Macdonald successfully becomes President, whilst Attlee becomes Vice President, and JR Clynes House Majority Leader. The following year, Macdonald passes several Presidential Acts, known as the 1931 Reforms:

The President shall have a six year-term, and can serve a maximum of 12 years, or two terms.
Assemblies for these Regions shall be established -

Edinburgh
Dublin
Cornwall and Essex
North Scotland
South Scotland
West Scotland
East Scotland
Suffolk

Each shall be ruled by a Governor, who will lead an Assembly of 100 Representatives. The Governor shall be elected every five years.
Parties with at least 5% in any governing body shall be considered a major party. Less shall be considered a minor party.

In response, the POD is political, she is certainly still born. Just because a revolution occurs in 1827 doesn’t mean that the first female Prime Minister (or second female President) doesn’t come to power.

Because Britain remaining split between the Anglo-Saxons and Danes, with no Norman Conquest, would have no effect on culture or anything else other than politics?

FFS, you have the British king named “William” when that’s a Norman French name in a TL where the Normans never conquered England!

Yeah, you’re gonna do great on here. A thousand year old POD with major cultural implications and the same people as OTL still get born a thousand years later does not a good timeline make.

Alfred the Great fails to unite the kingdoms of England, with what is known as Danelaw taking up much of the north. Thatcher was born in Lincolnshire, which, in fact, is not part of Danelaw. Therefore she is still born. Now please stop going on with this. I welcome constructive criticism, but just moaning about someone’s work is called “annoying”.

Thatcher was born in a part of England that was part of the Norman Conquest and influenced by a thousand years of Norman cultural changes.

This IS constructive criticism. Thatcher is a convenient microcosm for the big problem of your timeline: it seems to only factor in political changes without also considering the massive social and cultural changes that would also result.
