1777: King Louis decides to follow the advice of his finance minister and doesn't intervene in America.
1785: The toll from privateers forces Parliament to seek a solution to the war in America. America's land losses rule out straight out independence. Instead, it is given official recognition of the status quo ante (self-governing part of the Empire) and an MP are elected from each of the colonies, forming a third House, the Colonial House, whose assent must be given to any taxes laid on the colonies.
1792: French debt is paid off. Minor reforms asked for by the nobles are granted.
1798: The Irish rise up. An initial force of 20,000 French troops is landed and Ireland quickly becomes de facto independent, though fighting lasts for another year.
1800: The Kingdom of Ireland is proclaimed, with Savoy Prince Victor Emmanuel crowned king (third in the Jacobite line and the only one with heirs and who was able to take a throne, his elder brother Charles being king and Henry IX being ordained).

Without French intervention in the American struggle, there is no French Revolution as the kingdom remained solvent.
