Just got this idea from reading a MILITARY HERITAGE article on Anthony Wayne & the Legion of the US at Fallen Timbers- which opined that, had Wayne not achieved a decisive victory against Little Turlte's Indians there, the simultaneous crisis of the Whiskey Rebellion in western Pa & Ky could've resulted in the British being emboldened enough to provide arms to the latter disillusioned rebels & generate a secessionist impulse. Now, WI this scenario had in fact occurred ?
