1614 Years, The World Changes: A Collaborative TL

This is going to be a collaborative TL, the first event being in the year 400 AD. Dont make ASB events, and if you do, by a concesus, we can retcon it. For now, only events from 400-420 are allowed.

400 AD- Franks establish themselves in the north of the Netherlands.

401 AD- Kumarajiva, a Buddhist monk decides to head west to bring Buddhism there.

403 AD- Kumarajiva arrives in Constantinople, and begins to convert.

Already wonky. The northern Lowlands (Frisia) was mostly uninhabitable salt-swamps because climate change, such that even the native Frisians were having a really hard time doing much of anything. The Franks, who were used to solid ground and woodland would not in their right minds settle in the swampy Lowlands, particularly at that time.

It said that that occured on Wikipedia, but I am willing to change it if it would make more sense.

As long as he's converting to Christianity, thats fine. If he is trying to convert Christians to Buddhism, he probably disappears fast. At best exiled, at worst killed, whether publically or privately, officially or not.
