1454 - the Banquet of the Oath of the Pheasant

A year after the Turks had done the unthinkable and conquered Constantinople, ending the Byzantine Empire, the Banquet of the Oath of the Pheasant was called to drum up support for a new Crusade, against the Turks. History records that there was much merriment to be had at this Banquet, but ultimately no Crusade was ever launched.

Suppose a Crusade had been launched. How successful could it have been?

Not very, given the West's previous track record of anti-Ottoman crusades.

It's not impossible it might do some damage, but issues of leadership (who's in charge? How are they accepted by the other contingents?) seem to ensure that even if it wins a battle or three, it won't liberate Constantinople or something.
