Suppose Plantagenets keep their personal union over Normandy (say... the Capets forget to solve the problem that Henry II and his descendants own more of France than they do). Our POD is in Henry II's time. England, Anjou and Normandy remain in a union.
Aquitaine is owned by a cadet branch. Brittany is owned by a cadet Branch. Maine, Poitou, and Lucdoc owned by a third cadet branch (Plantagenets never had Lucdoc OTL).
Martin Luther is butterflied away, but indulgences are not. Does a reformation inside OTL Germany happen? Or is the Catholic Church going down a path of excesses that is going to encourage a break regardless of butterflies unless our POD is about the Catholic Church itself?
