100 years war

Sorry, I was unable to the temptation of to bring the war to England
Wikipedia: <Due to the hostile politics of John of Gaunt, 1st Duke of Lancaster, the new king Henry II of Castile joined the French side during the Hundred Years´War and declared war on England. As a result, Sánchez de Tovar led the Castilian fleet along with the French Jean de Vienne to South England and sacked the Isle of Wight and the English ports of Rye, Rottingdean, Lewes, Folkestone, Plymouth, Portsmouth and Hastings. In 1380 the joint fleet sailed up the Thames and burned Gravesend, a short distance from London>

Could this evolve into a real invasion?

Unlikely. I'm not sure the Castilians had the means to transport a large invasion force to England. Also, in this era, unlike the last century or so, wars were only fought on land claimed by one of the combatants. The French made no claim to England, so an invasion would achieve little. Sure, there was coast raiding to disrupt your opponent and to raise a bit of cash from looting, but it never really turned into anything more than a distraction. There's a reason why the entirety of the HYW was fought in France and not England.
