Prescott Samuel Burr (born August 30, 2075) is an American business magnate, scientist and philanthropist. He is the richest man in the Solar System, with an estimated net worth of $125.5 billion (2134). He is the Chairman and CEO of Astrodyne, Inc., and one of the inventors of the Burr-Kamijo nuclear pulse jet. He's been named the TIME Person of the Year twice, in 2102 for the Burr-Kamijo nuclear pulse jet which revolutionized space travel and again in 2122 for perfecting human cloning and forming the Burr Foundation.

Scot Burr is the youngest son of former U.S. Vice President Samuel Burr and former U.S. Chamber of Commerce President Flora Kelley Burr. Is older brother is George Kelley Burr, a U.S. Senator from New York. He was married to Juliette Ewing Burr from 2099 until her death in 2120 in a car accident. In the years following her death, Burr became reclusive and didn't appear in public until he announced that Astrodyne had perfected human cloning. He is a very charismatic and popular figure, and despite several political draft campaigns, he's remained largely apolitical.

Scot Burr, as played by the venerable Ed Norton.

Seems a tiny bit ASB for the President, Prime Minister and Speaker to all be the same as OTL, particularly when Finland's only two thirds as populous. Also, I doubt a communist state would base its anthem on a poem by Runeberg. Finally, what happened to Kuusinen?

I also thought the lack of butterflies among the Finnish leadership a bit unlikely. The borders staying exactly the same as OTL post-1944 is also a bit suspect as the POD(s) predate 1944 by several years. Also, ITTL we might expect Finland to have a Russian-speaking minority, even bigger a group than the Swedish-speakers. About the anthem: maybe they kept the tune and the title but made up new, more Socialist words for it? It seems like a decent compromise.

The lack of Kuusinen in the Finnish leadership, on the other hand, can be pretty easily explained by the fact that at least according to Arvo "Poika" Tuominen himself, he was offered the leadership of the Finnish Democratic Republic first at the beginning of the Winter War and Kuusinen was only the second choice. ITTL Tuominen would have then accepted the "order" from Moscow (whenever the USSR took over Finland ITTL) and Kuusinen probably stayed as a member of the Politbyro instead of becoming the Finnish (puppet) leader.

Oregonian presidential election of 2014 from Blazing Fire.

After Weaver's centrist presidency proved to be a disappointment, the people turned back to the Oregonian People's Party and elected Horgan in a strong victory over Celestial Jane Sterk and Conservative Butch Otter, and the Conservatives made gains in the vote from 2007, mostly from disillusioned Celestials.

So just how big is this Oregon?

Inspired by infobox of Rascallite.
I feel like if Denmark was to ever go communist, especially if they were liberated by the Soviets in WWII, the Americans would either indefinitely occupy Greenland, set up a government in exile there or just annex the island.

Is there any Bill Clinton wins in 2000 ones?

The POD is no 22nd ammemendt. He still has Al Gore a President, and wins both the popular and electoral vote. He runs aganist George Bush and Dick Cheney.

I've been on a roll lately. A few random ones. First, the three most popular sports leagues in the United States today. Everyone loves baseball, football is most popular with the working class and lacrosse is the sport of the upper class.

Second, the Canadian federal election, 2133. Vanessa McNally's Progressive Conservatives captured a majority government after having governed with a minority for the previous four years. Quebec nationalism is seeing its generational downswing, while the Progressive Conservatives efforts to eat into the predominately-western Social Credit Party is beginning to pay dividends. The other real winner was the New Canada Party, a pro-U.S., technocratic party. The Canadian Action Party, a far-right nationalist and populist party, entered Parliament for the first time.

Christian Bergeron was one of the most popular and famous French hyper-folk singers in the 2030s and 2040s. Following the Deluge and the collapse of the Communist government, Bergeron began to experiment with his music. His multi-album River Muse rock opera is considered some of the best rock music of the 2050s. However, in the late 2050s, Bergeron's heavy drug use and life-long battle with depression came to a head as he became the leader of the French Hammer, a neo-fascist paramilitary force. By 2060, he became the effective ruler of most of southern France, and his forces were responsible for the deaths of hundreds of Jews, Slavs, Africans, Arabs and non-Catholics, and the French Hammer began launching terrorist attacks against the United Arab Republic. He was killed in August 2062 by Arab military commandos in one of the few foreign military interventions in Europe during this time.
