· This index covers mostly Clackamas County and Oregon people and places, etc., including over 16,000 obituaries from over 100 years of Canby, Oregon newspapers, originally compiled by Canby Public Library volunteers and staff. The subjects of the obituaries were from a wide area including much of Clackamas County and northeast Marion County. Many otherwise unindexed sources in the Wilsonville Public Library Heritage Collection have also been indexed here.

The New York Times Article Archive contains New York Times articles dating back to 1851. The archive is divided into two search sets: 1851–1980 and 1981–present.
· Makes available and searchable the principal records of clerical careers from over 50 archives in England and Wales with the aim of providing coverage of as many clerical lives as possible from the Reformation to the mid-nineteenth century. The Database fills major gaps in our knowledge of one of the most important professions in early modern England and Wales. It provides an invaluable research tool for both national and local, academic and amateur historians, and genealogists who often need to discover biographical information about individual clergymen or more about the succession of clergy in a particular place. CCEd is a collaboration between historians at King’s College London, the University of Kent and the University of Reading, and it is supported by the Centre for Computing in the Humanities at King’s College London.

· The largest fully searchable database of Canadians serving in the First World War, or other nationalities who served in the CEF. The site differs from others like the Libraries and Archive Canada sites, or the Canadian Virtual War Memoria by making all information, including birthplace or next of kin, available as part of the search criteria, making it very useful for genealogical research. There are currently over 70,000 entries, with more being added daily.The site includes many other features, including transcribed/searchable war diaries, book reviews, transcribed letters, images and statistics on Canada in the Great War.

· Railways Staff Database
Cheshire, England. From the Cheshire West and Chester Council, Cheshire Record Office web site. The Archives holds 17 staff registers of 4 former railway companies: Cambrian Railway, Great Western Railway, London and North Western Railway, London and North Western & Great Western Joint Railway. The registers cover staff working over a large area of the North West including western Cheshire, Shropshire, Herefordshire and nine counties in North and mid Wales. They do not include stations in the east of Cheshire (eg Crewe). The registers provide a summary of an employee’s career, the actual details varying slightly between registers. The registers cover the period c. 1869 when the first register was compiled, to c 1950 although no one company’s registers cover this whole period. The index contains around 25,000 entries.
