-Gran Colombia never falls apart. Nor does the Peru-Bolivian Confederation. Or the Federal States of
-The Great Games goes differently, with the British and Russians extending their influence into Afghanistan and fighting for control over Tibet. It's obvious who won what and how much of what.
-The Federal States of Central America agrees to an offer to build the Nicaraguan Canal by the US.
-WW2 runs it's course a bit differently:
--Iceland never becomes independent and collaborates with the Nazis.
--The Iron Curtain falls further west.
-Decolonization goes very differently, with the Federation of French Equatorial Africa becoming the Equatorial African Federation, instead of breaking into individual nations during decolonization. Most conglomerations of colonies and ethnic/religious regions stay united, including India.
-The various Pan-Arab movements and proposals (United Arab Republic, Arab Islamic Republic, Federation of Arab Republics) leads to the United Arab Islamic Federation.

All red nations are Soviet-dominated or Soviet influenced or Soviet controlled.

For a world with so many divergences from our timeline, I doubt WW2 would happen in a way so similar to our timeline.

Ze butterflies! Ze butterflies!

Yes please...

Oh yeah, the Backstory. Mainly concentrating on the Eleven Years war for know, so it's a little obscure. But anyway, a seemingly obscure POD occurs right after the Austrian War of Succesion, which butterflies away the so called Diplomatic Revolution as we know it, preventing the Seven years war, but leading to increased rivalry between the powers, culminating in the far more brutal Eleven Years war (1767-1780), where we see such delights as...

*France Getting Pwnd
*Spain Getting Pwnd
*General Wolfe conquring Ro de la Plata and surviving
*All of New France going to Britian
*The American Revolution butterflied away
*A Conqured, then united Scandanavia under the Hosue of Hanover
*Prussian Bohemia and Saxony
*A French Western Australia
*The early invention of the Breech loading artillery, Steam Warships and evan Military Aviation

plus much, much more... :D

What do you think? (Sorry to pester)

Wow.....thats a unique take on colonization. So Europe im assuming is either Islamic or completely worthless ITTL.
Look closer. I suspect Bascarníe Francais and New Lusitania (English-Portuguese Union?) might indicate something, and that Terra Maria thing seems suspiciously European...

Here's the most recent map for Dimension 459. The British and FRA do both have some outposts on Antarctica, but those are fairly unimportant.

Don't worry about Uber-Prussia, there will be many more special suprises :D. By the Way, hope you don't mind, but this TL might end up looking like a Non ASB, steampunk version of your Masterpeice, The Britwank Empire, so i'm sorry for any resembelence . However, it won't be a complete Britwank yet, observe the French Western Australia ;).

You can do no wrong with Britwank (in my book, anyway).

And steampunk makes anything more awesome... ;)

France and Spain getting their asses kicked is always good...

And I'm sure LordInsane will like you for that Hanoverian Scandinavia... ;)

I hope French Western Australia will stop being quite so French soon... ;)

Here is a campaign map I made for shared worlds, base map from google, but is it something that would be a good start to expand on for a type of campaign map? I'll be sure to clean up to formats and make the arrows look better next time, but is it worth working like this?

Quick question - what happened to Alba? When did the Irish move back in, did I miss something?
IDK, I just threw it in there so I could re-use the Alba colour, in the 1110 map.
I guess I could have that the King of Alba ascends to the Irish royal throne, and unites them. Or something.

Armenian Empire?
What, on mine?
Yeah, Armenia ITTL is more fluid and larger.
Their populace isn't necessarily all Armenian; a significant amount are Seljuks Turks and Anatolian Byzantines who joined them out of expediency.

A continuation of my current project, it's now 1930, twenty years after the last.

As a note, while the Industrial Revolution occurred in the 1850's, do to the 'Rise' technology has developed at a different rate, while some technology is
more or less at OTL levels others are behind and a few are ahead.
Overall the world is about a century behind and certain ideas that developed OTL either have'nt or have developed differently, thus colonization will likely
last well into the 20th century.

Summary;
The colonization of the world has continued on more or less normally the last twenty years, however with the French and Italian escapades into Western Asia and
the beginning of settlements on Austrilisia (Australia) have started a new phase in colonization and exploration.
The Hindustani Empire is on its last legs, weakened from decades of internal unrest and periodic revolts and an overall never really united political system.

The Iberian Union has, as normal continued its colonization in South America, however the viceroyalty's have been given the responsibility and chance to decide
their own colonization plans to some degree.
In Africa a new colony, 'Colónia Sáhara' comprising the newly acquired territory South of New Granada.
In Asia exploratory trips from the Fernando islands (Fiji's) have resulted in the colonization of the 'Islas de San Salvadore' (New Hebrides), the 'Islas Isabela' (New Caledonia),
'Islas del Sur' (remnant of the Auckland peninsula) and the 'Colónia de Nova Mérida' (small part of North-East Australia).
The political landscape of Iberia has changed as well with the adoption of a new constitution creating a Federated structure and merging the two Iberian crowns into
a single (constitutional) monarchy.

France has continued it colonization efforts in all its areas of influence.
In North America French America has been expanded somewhat, with the Western borders of the previous Western provinces being finalized and the new territory
forming the beginning of three new provinces.
In Africa the colony of Mauretania has been expanded.
In Asia France has taken over the Île de Étienne, a sparsely populated island previously claimed by the Hindustani Empire.
While France continues to look East towards Asia their are growing calls among the populace of French America for (peaceful) secession.

The UK has continued colonization, though at a more normal rate than before.
In North America the UK has continued South, increasing the size of its holdings. A new provincial border has also been established between the provinces of
New Vinland and Gothia.
In Africa the UKs newest colony has been expanded East. After confusion over their shared border the UK and Iberia have established a concrete border,
resulting in some slight land gains for the UK.
Following the stories of the riches and possibilities of the East the UK has sent diplomatic contacts to Japan for permission to send exploratory trips through
the Kitano straight.

The Kalmar Union has continued its exploration and colonization.
In North America the Nordholm colony has more than doubled in size.
In Africa all of the colonies have grown to varying extents, however with interest being primarily in the Northern circle and the main southern hemisphere routes
being in the South the East Africa colony has expanded very little.
In Eurasia the Nýrland colony has expanded somewhat, primarily along the coasts.
In Asia after exploratory missions from the Sigurd islands landed on Austrilisia (Australia) the colony of Stórrland (around 120 mi. south of Perth).

The Republic of Rus' has expanded more than normal, not only expanding East on the continent but buying Kazir island from Persia.

The Japanese Empire has all but stopped its expansion in North America and focused primarily on expanding in Asia, particularly following several Mongol raids
on the frontier regions.

Italia has continued its colonization and expanding its area of influence.
In Africa the Libyan and Tripolian colonies have both been expanded while the Aetheria peninsula colony has been doubled after Italia used 'hard diplomacy' with Ethiopia.
In Asia Italia has managed to gain a small, but good sized area of South-East Persia through a mixture of money and allying with them.

Several native states have expanded, most noticeably the Ohlone Confederacy.

No Armenian dispora ITTL then?

Just another random one, from a TL where the Puritans and the Pilgrims ended up in Virginia, and New England by default ended up going to the Dutch and the French.

It's a multipolar world, and the Republic of Virginia is just one of several Great Powers. Relations are currently warming up again with the mother country (they fell out in the late 1960s as a result of the bloodiness of the UK's efforts to squash the Indian revolution, and things ended on a sour note, what with the British Governor General thrown on the first plane to England when he tried to do to the Virginian Prime minister what Kerr did to Whitlam OTL). The British empire needs friends, having lost first India and then South Africa, which although not exactly baby Draka, has some family resemblences.

Colonialism in general is on the way out, although it's still all "educating local elites", "cooperative partnerships", and other such crap. Indeed, perhaps the biggest block to a rapid exit (well, aside from the several million Europeans living in North Africa) is the fear that they'll all go Moreuvist: with Russia now one of the democracies, the socialist dictatorships have become the principal Big Bads in this world's perceptions.

After the recent fairly bloodless collapse of the Russian *Facist regime and the exit of the Czar, stage left, Russia is shakily democratic, and has dropped some of the outlying bits of its empire. Manchuria's Chinese 45% mostly like the idea of joining with the Chinese Republic: the Manchus, Koreans, Russians, Jews, Ukranians, etc., are less enthusiastic about the notion.

The Chinese-Japanese alliance, initially formed as a defensive measure against a Russia relatively stronger than OTL, is currently having some difficulties: the Chinese are rapidly moving to become the dominant partner, and the Japanese do not like. There is some talk of switching to an alliance with the Russians or even the British, culturally alien as they may be.

Relations between Virginia and New France are generally a bit cool but correct: the New French really don't _want_ those bomb-throwing seperatist radicals as part of their country (think the IRA and Eire, only more so): more support come from the Kingdom of France and Lousiana. The Ottoman federation, although a bit shaky, is generally a fairly civilized place and the heart of global Islam, and has drawn post-Russian N. Iran into its orbit.

In this world, which has nuclear bombers but no ICBMs, the most feared of dictators are of course the ruthless ideologues of the Italian Union...

Yes, but nothing changed French-German emnity or the Balkan situation to prevent a bloody WWI. Or prevent German defeat. Or prevent post-WWI conditions which lead to Fascism. Or prevent Marx from existing either....

And many of the nations did exist, or were about to in the world I presented. It wouldn't be a major leap or change if they existed today, other than more global financial and political stability.
