End of page syndrome... gonna repost then

I need this to be more professionally done if that alright. To see the meaning of the map and all of the other history associated, see the post a little further back in the thread, plox.

I think yellowstone is a bit off there, it's marked a fair bit northwest of its actual position.

What we can get from mixing Mad Max and ISIS videos? Mad Mehmed.
I didn't finished this for last MotF, they may be some mistakes, but well...
Backstory: Chomeini didn't close shah nuclear program, no Iraq-Iran War, no Desert Strom, Hussein open Iraq economy "China way" after 1989, is still western and gulf states pupil. In 1995 there are 4 nuclear powers in region: Israel, Iran, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia. In 1999 economy crisis hit Middle East, Syria strenghten its ties to Iran, and Hussein decide to invade Syria. Escalation led to regional nuclear exchange. World outside of region survive in about good shape, but Middle East is drowned in blood and chaos: fractions fight for resources, outside powers scramble for survived oilfields, apocaliptic cults emerge, migrants wave is stoped by buffer states.

Nicely done, although you might reconsider call those "Saudi tribes": once the House of Saud is done and the state is broken to pieces, there's not much of a "Saudi" identity left: might I suggest Wahhabi tribes? (Which, BTW, seem to have a core territory in what is OTL Shi'a territory [1], although no doubt there have been all sorts of population movements).

Also, remind me: what did the Omanis do to get nuked by Israel?

I was looking for a map of the ottoman empire at it's greatest extent and found that the map on Wikipedia for the ottoman empire is this:

this map is odd. Why are Slovakia and Austria partially Ottoman dominated while the Czech Republic isn't? Austria was never Ottoman dominated, the Ottomans invaded and laid siege to Vienna twice and lost. No part of Austria was ever ruled by the Ottomans and the aftermath of both of these conflicts saw the Ottomans lose territory they controlled. If we're going to say that the times when the Ottomans invaded Austria and got defeated are equal to Austria being partially dominated then shouldn't the Czech republic also be shown as being dominated, given that it was ruled by the Habsburgs in Vienna?

Also equating the time one Neapolitan city was ruled for like a year to anything even remotely looking like domination is a bit ridiculous.

I'm surprised the Israelis didn't hit the Aswan dam.

A suitable sequel? The date setting is 1860, with the dark areas being Chinese settlement zones after a great war with Russia, Britain and France, while the lighter colour is vassals or influenced movements.

Can be replaced if deemed necessary.

INDIANS SHALL BE RULED BY INDIANS!

British has no problem with this?

Also Chinese Indonesians mainly held official post in Java, and without Java Dutch East Indies was almost impossible to be ruled.

And yet Borneo, which had a sizable Chinese minority is untouched?

I guess the POD is the Central Powers winning both world wars, the second against a vengeful Britain. Is Peru and India socialist? what is that Ukraine-Caucasus state? what is the situation in East Asia?

Nah, the second was mainly against non communist france and the soviet Union. That Ukrainian state is just what germany decided to give to them after the soviets were defeated. In east asia, japan got screwed even more at the peace conference since the did loose in this timeline. so the radicalization of japan still happened. but they were smart enough not to take on the US head on. and instead took on the european powers by supporting independence movements. so all the countries outlined in yellow are allies of them. Currently japan is not so secretly supporting an independence movement in the phillipeans against the US. (they were gonna give them independence in the 40's but were worried with japan's rise so held on to it. WHOOPS that worked well for them)

Someone needs to make a TL based on this. I would read it in a heartbeat!

If Egypt, Turkey and Lebanon are saved by a secret agreement though, how come a Republic of the Levant is carved out of Lebanon
Post-exchange civil war: old animosies heated by reamins of syrian army, and influx of refugees.
And I'm assuming the military territory of Mecca and Medina is an Egyptian territory much like Rojava seems to be a Turkish protectorate...
Something like that: Kurds can fight for themselfs. Just Turks support them with weapons, cash and food in exchange for keeping all that arabian chaos and refugees down south, away from borders. But Hejaz is in many places lawless country, with egyptian forces trying to control roads and towns: think soviet-ocupied Afghanistan.

Thanks. I rushed "a bit" for MotF, bud didn't make till deadline.
Also, remind me: what did the Omanis do to get nuked by Israel?
"Samson option". Arabs launched nukes on us, so nuke every capital on Arabian Penisula. Egyptians and Turks made deal with Isrealis in last moment: fear of refugees, need of resources etc.

I doubt Oman would be nuked, it's out of the way and doesn't get involved in many of the wars.

Also the possibility of Eritrea "colonizing" Arabia gives me chills.

130 NA / 1429 AD / 943 AD / 1218 AD / 5E 29

It has been 129 years since the Frankish and Byzantine Empires arrived on this foreign strange world; and it has been but 29 years since the arrival of the Kingdom of England and the High Kingdom of Skyrim.

Mars Occidentalis:

High Kingdom of Skyrim:
The newly established Nord Kingdom lead to bad blood between remnant Imperials, and the various other groups in the High Kingdom. Frustrated by lack of representation and lack of legal protections, three major groups of people have left Skyrim behind and headed north, and have settled along the fertile, warm coasts.

The High Kingdom of Dunmer was created by Dunmer exiles, spearheaded by the Priests of Mara. Their realm is governed justly, and is in a peaceful relation to the other Exiled Kingdoms.

To their east, sandwiched between the Dunmer and Orcs, is the New Empire; governed by Taurinus Duilis, the former Imperial Legate in Morthal. After the Daedra decreed it that the Empire should be destroyed and Skyrim should be free, he left with all Imperial soldiers in Hjaalmarch and The Pale, and settled to the north, with the Dunmer and Orcs.

The Orcish Kingdom lies to the east of them, and is one of the richer states of the three.

Since their arrival on the shores, their relationship with Catholic Europe has been established. While at first, these Catholics were hostile, the groups reconciled their differences in the name of trade and merchant interests.

The Christians are unsure of what to take of these new pagan faiths that have followed the groups. The Dunmer praised two pantheons of Gods; The Imperials, who resembled that of the Italians and whose culture seemed to be a slightly changed form of Roman, they praised the Nine Divines, who bore strong resemblance to the Roman gods of the Antiquity.

The Christians as well learned of the Orcish God; the closest to their own. Malacath (Christianized as Malachai) held his Orcish followers to a code of honor, seeing them as his brethren, not as subjects. The Christians formed the strongest relationship with the monotheist Orcs, and seemed unsure about how to treat the pagans, particularly after Christian preachers were expelled from the two western Kingdoms.

The Exile Kingdoms are unsure of how to take the story of Jesus Christ (or as they called him Iesus Nazarii) and the divinity of Christ. Many draw comparisons between him and Talos, the divine God-King that once governed mortally. Christianity and the Faiths of Skyrim have entered into an uneasy truce; but the Christians have as well, learned of the Nord faiths.

The Skyrim exiles are surprised to learn that the Nords are part of Christian heritage as well, fearsome raiders with axes and ships that plunder for gold and fertile women; stories told before the Frankish faithful found themselves on a far-off land was that these Nords were frequent visitors to the coasts of France, and that their runestones stood the test of time.

Carolingian Empire:
Despite the arrival of the Skyrim Exiles, the Carolingian Empire has continued on, much as normal. The new concepts of Magicka and other forces have intrigued scholars of Christ, who are unsure how to feel about these seemingly miracle actions.

Some more heretical Christians have proclaimed that Jesus must have had the advanced magical skills these people exhibit -- healing, among other things. The mainstream has not given commitment to it, but Magic has become something of a hobby many Franks adopt.

Germania:
Germany remains the dominant political power in the North, as she now controls almost all of the Island of Arminia. Two new states were established under Imperial purvey; the Duchy of Courania, to the west, and Kaltensumpf to the north.

Magicka has spread a lot stronger in Germania, whose Christian identity seems rapidly failing in favor of a revival of Germanic paganism. This is caused after explorers discovered a large magical tree in the middle of Imperial Lands; scholars have proclaimed it to be Yggdrasil, and that the Thunderer had brought the world here to restore the faith of the Germanics.

This is aided and abetted by the Saxon exiles, who had joined them in their new lands, and had railed against "Latin Christ" in favor of "Germanic Donar!".

The Kaiser remains a Christian, but his faith is flaky at best, and he has become entranced by the magics of the Skyrim peoples; aided by several Imperials who have joined his court as advisors.

England:
The Kingdom of Great Britain was established within no time at all due to the flood of English settlers to the North into Scotland. This sudden population boom soon overflowed, and English settlers, looking for gold, adventure and territory, set sail. Newfoundland, England's one colony on the main continent, has become a major port of production and mining

And the Byzantine Empire progresses along as ever. ^^

I don't see why Englishmen pouring into Scotland would mean there would be a greater flood, but I am glad to see this map series is back.
