  1. Was Albert Speer genuinely remorseful about his role with the Nazis?

The book I read it from was from Berlin by Antony Beevor. So, if you think that the info I got it from was not academic, that is not true. As I do respect Antony Beevor for his research and his general hatred of how people have idealized the Nazis.
  2. Was Albert Speer genuinely remorseful about his role with the Nazis?

In regard to Speer, it is pretty obvious that Speer was not genuinely remorseful about his role with the Nazis. In fact, if I remember correctly, he was sort of resentful that all the "good" that the Third Reich did in regards to Germany would be forgotten. But, I had read in a book that Speer...
  3. "Our Struggle": What If Hitler Had Been a Communist?

@The Red I gotta say. You didn’t respond on this thread for so long I was worried that the English occupation authorities captured you for speaking out for an independent Scotland. 😆
  4. What if the US found actually found Nuke’s in Iraq?

Based on this question, what would have happened if US forces in Iraq were caught in a nuclear explosion similar to Modern Warfare?
  5. "Our Struggle": What If Hitler Had Been a Communist?

I am sorry, but I laughed out loud when I saw your picture. The man in the picture is Józef Piłsudski. Literally, the father of the Second Polish Republic. He fought against the Soviets during the Polish-Soviet War. I am not aware if he had any special animosity towards Communists, but he...
  6. Patton in Korea/MacArthur in the White House

I rather see that as unlikely, China was committed to intervening in the conflict the moment American Forces cross the 38th parallel. The moment that Mao was assured of Soviet support for China's intervention in Korea, he was committed.
  7. Patton in Korea/MacArthur in the White House

MacArthur was also a glory hound and often disobeyed or ignored orders that he disliked. Truman tolerated this because of MacArthur's good press. But MacArthur crossed the line when he began advocating for the use of nuclear weapons in Korea against the Chinese. Truman ordered him to stop and...
  8. Patton in Korea/MacArthur in the White House

I can’t wait to see how Patton will react to China’s entry into the Korean War. It will be a nasty shock to General Patton. In RL, China’s entry was a nasty shock to the American lead UN Force despite all the warnings as they did not expect that China would actually enter the war. And they...
  9. Patton in Korea/MacArthur in the White House

I think you are forgetting just how hated Chiang Kai Shek was in the United States. He was seen as corrupt and incompetent and he did not have a great reputation compared to his wife. His wife, Soong Mei-ling, was insanely popular in the United States and really help raise China's status among...
  10. Patton in Korea/MacArthur in the White House

I remember reading about that incident, Eisenhower was absolutely furious. Smith only made that bet as a joke. Montgomery took it seriously and refused the drop the matter. Eisenhower was so furious to see Monty acting like a child that he actually visibly showed his anger in front of Alan...
  11. Patton in Korea/MacArthur in the White House

The Korean War was a huge benefit to Japan and was a great help to the Japanese economy. In fact, South Korea studied how Japan was able to use the Korean War to help their nation's recovery in order to replicate the same success in the Vietnam War.
  12. Patton in Korea/MacArthur in the White House

Other than the fact that ignoring or threatening the Man, who is the President in the Nation that they are trying to protect, is a really bad idea? One should remember that Rhee had a lot of powerful friends in the United States. Before his authoritarian rule over the Republic of Korea, Rhee...
  13. "Our Struggle": What If Hitler Had Been a Communist?

That reminds me, how are the German advisers doing in China right now? Also, will Asia and the Pacific become a front of the next World War?
  14. "Our Struggle": What If Hitler Had Been a Communist?

Potential German Nationalist/Fascist/Royalist Songs. I included the National Anthem in this list, but honestly, I think that it would be sung by people in both factions.
  15. "Our Struggle": What If Hitler Had Been a Communist?

Have anyone posted worthy songs that would be sung by the United Front? I don't recall so here. I tried to find some possible socialist/communist songs that the soldiers of the United Front would have sung. Or songs that have been played on United Front radio stations. Question for...
  16. What would have happened if Liberia became an American territory and eventually became a US State?

That is because those areas were not part of the United States. If Liberia becomes a State, then its residents become American Citizens and they would have a right to travel anywhere throughout the United States.
  17. What would have happened if Liberia became an American territory and eventually became a US State?

I am not sure that would work. It would have been possible before the American Civil War. But I believe that after the American Civil War, states could no longer prevent American citizens from entering their states on the basis of their race.
  18. What would have happened if Liberia became an American territory and eventually became a US State?

I do not know much about Liberian History, but I am aware that the modern state of Liberia was established by the American Colonization Society. Later on, these Amerio-Liberians later declared independence and created their own Consitution. My question is what would have happened if, instead...
  19. "Our Struggle": What If Hitler Had Been a Communist?

That blindspot was deliberately created due to Western admiration for the military prowess of the German Military and for German Generals in the post-war world and by the misleading memoirs of German Generals, who sought to hide the German Military and their own complicity with the crimes of the...
  20. "Our Struggle": What If Hitler Had Been a Communist?

@The Red Will we soon be seeing the German Reich’s retreat to East Prussia? I imagine that there will be many similarities with the Republic of China’s retreat to Taiwan, but unlike Taiwan, the continued existence of the the German Reich in exile is considerably more threatened. Also, will the...
