What if the May 1968 Protests In France caused a Civil War?

The series is known as What If? but not all albums have been translated yet.

What if the May 1968 Protests In France caused a Civil War?

They're available at Amazon and probably other online book retailers.

    AHC Pat Robertson 1996

For the record, that wouldn't have been a "stance against religion", but one in favour of the separation of church and state. But even then, as already pointed out, it would have been a nonstarter with the Supreme Court.

WI: Entente win a devastating victory in WWI, Treaty of Sevres enforced

Just because the Entente wins an earlier victory doesn't mean Turkey will accept dismemberment. Once Germany, Austria-Hungary and, presumably, Bulgaria, have signed a ceasefire of one sort or another, Turkey will simply continue the fight on its own as it did in OTL, probably after a coup...

If Kerry won in 2004 and the financial crash still happened what would be the Republican's affordaA

There wouldn't have been one. Republicans have been very clear about the fact that they don't consider health care to be a right. You can pay? Fine. You can't? Sucks to be you.

A Blunted Sickle - Thread II

In totalitarian dictatorships the line of succession often boils down to "whoever manages to kill his rivals the fastest".

Tea Party without Palin or Bachmann

The Tea Party was never fiscally focused. It was an astroturf movement designed to fire up the radical wing of the GOP and, in hindsight, turned out to be a test run for Trumpism.

A Blunted Sickle - Thread II

Aye, shipping them from Le Havre to Rotterdam is probably the simplest option.

A Blunted Sickle - Thread II

This does look strategically more sensible. Why attack the Westwall head-on when it can be bypassed? Sure the logistics of a large-scale transfer of the French forces are going to be a headache, but they have the entire winter to make it work.

Africa with a higher Human Development Index score than in OTL

The economic policy of South Korea and Singapore can be called a lot of things, but "hands-off" isn't one of them. Pro-business? Definitely. Laissez-faire? A lot less so. I fail to see why countries getting exploited by a foreign power for even longer would improve their economic prospects...

    WI - White Russian Manchuria?

It's true that people tend to overestimate Sternberg's AH potential. There just wasn't enough method to his madness.

W.I.: US tries to breed a new Americanized “hybrid” culture in Iraq?

So the US Army was stabbed in the back by a lying press?

W.I.: US tries to breed a new Americanized “hybrid” culture in Iraq?

"Hi, I'm a member of the army that's occupying your country. One word from me and your family gets thrown in jail for terrorism. Shall we say dinner at 8?" I have long wondered how different the situation in Iraq would have turned out with a greater degree of social interaction between the US...

What would be the name of a Socialist America?

The name also implied that the Soviets would actually matter, when in fact they swiftly became hollow shells.

New Deal Coalition Retained Pt II: World on Fire

So you jumped to the defense of this TL without first checking one of its most problematic key plot points?

New Deal Coalition Retained Pt II: World on Fire

To their credit, they err on the side of forbearance. But it doesn't mean that others don't find the overt glorification of right-wing extremism--including, I insist on that point, literal Nazis-- that is going on in this TL an embarrassment to the values of this board.

New Deal Coalition Retained Pt II: World on Fire

The fact that one of the people calling this TL a juvenile fantasy is a moderator ought to give the author and the readers alike pause. The mod team is not in the habit of using such strong language without good reason.
