Until Every Drop of Blood Is Paid: A More Radical American Civil War

I got curious because I’ve never heard of Hammond before and after reading about him I can firmly say that he got no less than he deserved in ITTL. Funny how the Southern slaver owner I’ve never heard of before turns out to be the most disgusting, worst of them all. Anyways congrats on a...

What alternate history ideas you wish they were used more often?

Cleopatra and Mark Antony manging to win against Octavian/Augustus and Emperor Julian living and successfully keeping Roman Hellenism alive are interesting What Ifs I feel don’t get explored enough.

Until Every Drop of Blood Is Paid: A More Radical American Civil War

Whooo!!! New update of my favorite TL! EDIT: And Sherman is going to march through Georgia at last! I do wonder however if the likely reinforcement of the state due to Governor Brown recalling the Army of Georgia to serve as a militia might lead to some difficulty on his part. I am curious as...

Until Every Drop of Blood Is Paid: A More Radical American Civil War

To be fair, I’m pretty sure none of us would exist in this alternate timeline, simply due to the butterfly effect. Pretty much anyone born after the POD probably doesn’t exist, if we’re being realistic.

Until Every Drop of Blood Is Paid: A More Radical American Civil War

Honestly with the coup and the current divisions in the South, I don’t think it’s outside the realm of possibility that we might see some outright battles between a few Confederate army/forces erupt, between those in the Confederacy like Longstreet that support Breckinridge and consider the coup...

When you Wish Upon a Frog (Book II of the Jim Henson at Disney saga)

Perfection @Geekhis Khan. Just perfection. On a side note, I found this cover of Kermit singing My Way (it’s a impressionist doing it, not AI) that I think really helps encompass both this chapter and the timeline ending in general:

When you Wish Upon a Frog (Book II of the Jim Henson at Disney saga)

I just don’t think you can make a entire park, and certainly not a full day park, out of one single IP, no matter how popular it is. Even in OTL’s Universal Studios parks, not everyone goes to said parks for Harry Potter. I really think you’d need to diversify it a bit more, since a park like...

When you Wish Upon a Frog (Book II of the Jim Henson at Disney saga)

Feels weird for this to be it’s own thing, not going to lie.

"To Introduce our Guest Star, that's What I'm Here to Do..." The Hensonverse Fan Contribution Thread

Sort of? Honestly the best comparison I would make to the trilogy is that Spider-Man 5 is kind of like Star Trek: Generations from OTL if Kirk and Picard not only had equal screen time but Kirk was the main character of two in the film. It’s basically a passing of the torch film.

"To Introduce our Guest Star, that's What I'm Here to Do..." The Hensonverse Fan Contribution Thread

Well the likelihood of Miles Morales himself as a character existing is pretty much unlikely considering how far his creation is from the POD and all the changes that have happened in the comics ITTL. While there may and likely will be a black Spider-Man ITTL, he most probably won’t be called...

    Threadmarks: Passing the Spider-Mantle

So for those following my ITTL Spider-Man movie posts and the general path of the MMU, here at long last is the retrospective for the Second Spider-Man movie trilogy in this timeline. --- Return of the Webbed Wonder - A Spider-Man Second Trilogy Retrospective Post from Comics and Nerds...

Yeah, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory I think could work for Blue Sky. Thoughts @Geekhis Khan?

When you Wish Upon a Frog (Book II of the Jim Henson at Disney saga)

Technically I haven’t posted this one yet, mainly because I’m finishing it up and waiting for the upcoming Marvel post so that I can then post it in the guest thread. Could we maybe retcon the Lasseter post? @Geekhis Khan you should be able to still edit that old post since it’s in this thread...

When you Wish Upon a Frog (Book II of the Jim Henson at Disney saga)

Maybe you could just add in to the upcoming in 2023, 2024, or 2025, that way I have a excuse to do a guest post on it ? Or maybe I could make it a Disney Direct special or miniseries, so it’s not technically a official movie, if that’s okay. I mean the suggested version still works well with...

When you Wish Upon a Frog (Book II of the Jim Henson at Disney saga)

Well I’d say the domino effect resulted from the failure of EuroDisneyland followed almost immediately by the death of Frank Wells and Eisner having a heart attack, growing uncertain without Wells, and stepping away from the creative process and letting non-creative businessmen have more of a...

When you Wish Upon a Frog (Book II of the Jim Henson at Disney saga)

Yeah, this was sort of a intentional thing. When I wrote the original Heart and Soul guest post, I had unintentionally gave it a bit of a Anti-Katzenberg bias, and for the followup Universal Animation guest posts I decided to roll with it and have Zarrell be a guest post. In fact I even took...

When you Wish Upon a Frog (Book II of the Jim Henson at Disney saga)

The Princess and the Dragon film for 2007 from UA that’s mentioned in the Canterbury Tales/League of Extraordinary Gentlemen guest post I did is another good example, as that subverts the Princess kidnapped by a dragon trope similar to Damsel. Although PatD goes with a story more akin to King Kong.

When you Wish Upon a Frog (Book II of the Jim Henson at Disney saga)

I honestly completely forgot they owned Nickelodeon since Paramount owned it in OTL. Though I should point out that in OTL I believe Warner Bros operated both WB Kids (which became CW4Kids and then Toonzai) and Cartoon Network simultaneously, so there is precedent for WB Kids existing alongside...

When you Wish Upon a Frog (Book II of the Jim Henson at Disney saga)

So I’m guessing the ITTL 90’s The Assassination of Julius Caesar movie and the 2002 Cleopatra miniseries inspired Universal to do their own 2004 film adaptation of Cleopatra? Kind of makes sense for a butterfly. Also I guess Brangelina is still going to be a thing ITTL lol.
