  2. St. Thomas (really and totally) converts India

Flocc, Sikhs rejected the caste system. Why aren't the Syrian Orthodox able to do the same?
  3. Board Member Created Super Heroes Version 1

Alrighty then, I got this one, headed off. Thats start with the frontliners in the American Metahuman Association, or the AMHA. Bulletproof is an urban combat specialist sponsered by TK LTD. His suit gives him the edge in battle, allowing him to take blows from the toughest of oppenets...
  4. On a Tall White Ship (#2)

The Plantegenat looked pretty promising, and might still end up landing a high ranking daughter. Anjou is a thriving crown during the period, and its important. Brittany could add to what he later inhierts, Champagne is fairly open, daughter of some anglo-norman earl to further cement the...
  5. Timeline ideas (A new Medieval timeline)

Yeah, sure. You'll primarily need to get aquainted with your canident, and Phillipe Auguste, as well as others of the line. They'll likely import more of the French goverment in, and do their best to buy of the Norman nobles. If the French stay there premenantly I think that England has a chance...
  6. Timeline ideas (A new Medieval timeline)

King Lewis would make a great counterpoint to the English Win the hundread year's war tls, and to OATWS. Plus, I can feature it in my zine feature, Lions among Lillies. Plus, I can help you out with this period, as I've gotten real intrested in the Angevin-Capetian conflict. I've shown...
  7. The NEW Our TimeLine Maps Thread!

Thank you, though I should point out the orginal request covered France as well, but I'll forgive you as it is impossible to find a map of France showing indivudal polities within the Kingdom. (I've found one, but that is too early. It was nifty too because it went into all the different fiefs...
  8. Map Thread IV

If I may disagree with you for a moment here. France was privy to some of the better heretical movements of OTL(not to mention how much control the royals had on Catholism within France), and England has had some aura of disstance about it in some way or form. With a nation that size, and...
  9. Map Thread IV

Technically your first scenario achieves a Anglo-French wank. IMO the Royal center of Goverment would move to France, but England would still be based in London, and France would still be based in Paris and overall they'd be seen as equals. Over-all though there would be a primarily French...
  10. UCS Map Thread Proposal

You failed to recognise the sarcasim in the last one, and the CP one! I do use unorginal color schemes, but they're all stolen from 1950s maps!
  11. UCS Map Thread Proposal

Every country in the world should get its own color! After all if you use photoshop you have 16 million to chose from!
  12. UCS Map Thread Proposal

It is my formal, and undieing opinion that the USC is nice for reference and should be used for AH.com OTL maps, however when making a map of your own idea you should use your own color scheme, based on your own criterion. You are capable of being orginal! The. UCS. IS. Boring! I mean what...
  13. UCS Map Thread Proposal

Why not just throw out the UCS, and use a system based on alliances, or find your own color scheme?

The HRE, and the boarders on the map are from 1175. It shows the lands of the Hohenstaufens, the Welfs, and the Church. Historical Atlas of the Medieval World AD 600 - 1492, by John Haywood. Its kinda short, but shows a great deal more detail than my other maps on the era, except for my reading.
  17. The NEW Our TimeLine Maps Thread!

I have one in my midevial atlas, but it isn't excactly an easy scan.
  18. The NEW Our TimeLine Maps Thread!

I'd have no guffs with a East-west split.
  19. The NEW Our TimeLine Maps Thread!

During. About 1240. Just put a thick line showing the extent of their conquest by that time. In all truth I just need a good European map showing church lands in Europe between 1100 and 1300.
  20. The Ruthless Cœur de Lion

From what I've been reading it points to the early Angevins being complete bastards when it came to sulterization. Richard and his brothers were poltical oppertunists, as was Phillipe II Auguste. Plain and simple.
