  1. Nazis Win the War: Can They Finish the Breitspurbahn

I swore Hitler was a proponent of automobiles rather than trains, as the one true way to be able to 'see the country'. Trains would be used for goods and such, but the primary transport he envisioned was automobiles, the People's Car that would be eventually be known to the west as the...
  2. WI: German WW2 5 foot rails?

Goering, looking upon these plans: those are great, but, where are the people going to sit? There was silence for a moment. "Herr Reischsmarshal, they're right there...- he say, timidly pointing at one o the many rail cars. "You must be mistaken. Those are my bacon cars."
  3. AHC: Europe looks like the Susano Map

Pretty much this. While Prussia was undoubtedly the least of the Great Powers on paper, its ability to punch above its weight(on land) would make them an excellent choice to make sure France stays out of the lowlands.
  4. AHC: Europe looks like the Susano Map

Prussia's religious tolerance will help, honestly, and its military will certainly fare better than the Dutch one in the Lowlands. So long as the UK approves of it remaining under Prussian tutelage, I can see it staying there.
  5. AHC: Belgium joins Central Powers

I'd like to reiterate: How does one define 'joins the Central Powers'? Because if resigned compliance is enough, that isn't too difficult to achieve.
  6. WI: Furthest Allies can advance

You'll need a PoD before Yalta. Best bet is for Germany to more-or-less stage a fighting retreat in the West, forgetting about driving them back to the sea and simply focusing on stalling for time while whatever units are not considered absolutely vital for that shipped to the eastern front, and...
  7. AHC: Belgium joins Central Powers

Define 'join'. Will "resigned compliance" suffice?
  8. Map Thread XI

Of course the universe I'm born in haaaaaad to be the one that got rid of Prussia..
  9. Europa Universalis IV - 13 August 2013

Hey, does Eu4 have pagan faiths? I mean if you were to convert a CK2 game where you reformed the Norse faith, and are Emperor of Scandinavia..
  10. Crusader Kings II - Paradox Entertainement (02/12)

No, more than that. He re-united Charlemagne's Empire.
  11. Map Thread XI

... Godfuckingdamnit. Now I've got to redo everything. -sigh-
  12. AHC: American Soldiers on the Eastern Front in WWII

And as I stated previously, they gained invaluable experience with their new tactics, and got a clearer idea of the limitations of new equipment.
  13. Does the Soviet Union invade Western Europe if the US leaves?

And even then, most of them were thinking of things like 'Positive Christianity'. Take a gander at that if you want to see something incredibly weird.
  14. Alternate First US Presidents?

Really, had he not defected, his face would be on the dollar bill, and we'd have a Benedict Arnold Memorial. I'm obviously using a bit of a butterfly net here, but you know what I mean.
  15. Does the Soviet Union invade Western Europe if the US leaves?

Why would they bother with a war if they can obtain all their goals through coercion, some bribes and even moderately competent foreign policy?
  16. AHC: American Soldiers on the Eastern Front in WWII

... The adventure in Greece probably helped the German army more than hampered. It allowed them to refine their tactics and gain some valuable knowledge on the capabilities of their newer equipment. Second, if memory serves, it was uncharacteristically wet during the initial proposed start of...
  17. Photos from Alternate Worlds

There is a distinct lack of Kevin Costner.
  18. Most Oppressive/Progressive State Possible?

Give NK a slightly better footing in regards to advances in technology, while being able to keep it from the people at large, and you could probably make it a little worse. But there's really only so far, and NK is nearly at that edge of plausible. It's honestly cartoonish.
  19. AHC: American Soldiers on the Eastern Front in WWII

Unlike the volunteer fighter pilots and the like in SE Asia and the UK, or even the 'Abraham Lincoln Brigades' in the Spanish Civil War, manpower(and technical expertise) was never a problem for the Soviets.
  20. Alternate First US Presidents?

You could always prevent Benedict Arnold from getting shafted for credit for the things he accomplished, and he would've easily have replaced Washington as the "core symbol" or such of the Revolution. His military record was second to no one else on the rebel side.
