  1. Map Thread XI

Whoops, didn't quote BMunro. Oh well. Very well done map. What's the deal with the land-of-improbably-straight-lines? and why are the borders different on the other map? How does north American politics work? seems like it would be pretty complicated, or else maybe in an EU-sort of thing. I...
  2. A Looser Union

Interesting. Germania legitimately seems to offer the best hope of one of the big powers turning nice-ish, which is pretty scary. Couple questions: Is the german block still strong but disintegrating, or has the decline levelled off? What's going on with New England? We hardly ever hear...
  3. Rememberences of Map Contests Past

Burn the traitor! I'll wait. :p
  4. Rememberences of Map Contests Past

yes! thought this was dead! :D
  5. Map Thread X

Ooooh boy. Is it bad to say I can't wait? ;) I've always loved your TL, and this is no different. I can definitely say I'd like to be in New England, especially when the bombs start flying. One thing though: the Prussia-gone-salutarian (sorry, name slips me right now): what with their...
  6. Map Thread IX

Great map. loved the "1984" twist. Sorry to hear about your getting sick. what was it, if you don't mind me asking?
  7. Napoleon's Victory [LONG]

Like a phoeniz from the ashes, one of the greatest TL's on the site rises again! Love the trouble in the Confederacy (Union all the way!:D) and can't wait to hear more about Austria, Japan, Ottomans, Velikoslavia...
  8. Rememberences of Map Contests Past

Add me to the list too. This is a great thread, I check it probably from the 25th to the 10th at the end/beginning of each month daily (at least:o) and find it really great. I've actually gotten a lot of inspiration for my own maps from this thread. please, keep it running.
  9. Map Thread IX

Interesting. I've always liked these. So is South New Jersey a US-administered neutral zone? also, would love to see the results of the great war (preferably with the US-led coalition winning:D)
  10. Map Thread IX

That is really good. I've always loved this TL, there's so much attention to detail (and a german wank, which never hurts :D). A couple questions, at the risk of sounding like a n00b:p. Basically, Araldanya is a west roman empire in North *America, and the blue-ish "scotland" state is a...
  11. Map Thread IX

Helloooo? Completely ignoring the idea of greater Switzerland.:p
  12. Map Thread IX

Honestly, this discussion is really cool and should probably be a seperate thread, but it's kind of wrong for the Map Thread. Besides, the simple fact is that Germans and Poles were intermixed throughout Posen/Polish Corridor/East Prussia, so someone will be mad no matter where the border is...
  13. Rememberences of Map Contests Past

I do love these maps and this thread, there's just no real need to discuss them. I have a feeling other people are doing the same thing.
  14. Under the Eagle Flag 2.0: An Alternate History of the World, 1821-2010

Painful. It seems like Wilmot is going to be a good president, as long as Hale doesn't try to assert his "power." How is the army doing in the field, especially out west? I agree that it wouldn't be totally stopped.
  15. Map Thread IX

...wow. This is really good. The textbook-y feel, the way the future civilization interprets what it has discoverd...everything about this flows in an amazing way.
  16. Under the Eagle Flag 2.0: An Alternate History of the World, 1821-2010

Bumping just to remind you that people care about this TL and can't wait for more :p
  17. Map Thread IX

One of the many downsides of invading China.:D I really love the map, though-never thought i'd see something that made Nazi war plans look plauisble...
  18. Map Thread IX

To be fair, he said more realistic, and it is that, although uber-CSA is CLEARLY ASB:D
  19. Map Thread IX

Even with a Francewank, Britain still manages to grab way too much land...:D
  20. Under the Eagle Flag 2.0: An Alternate History of the World, 1821-2010

I always think a map goes well, but that's just me:D. I actually rather like the narrow focus of the Tl. It might be nice to see a little bit of the world for a change (like in a map (:D) ), but overall I'd say keep it up the way it is. An "easy" assassination and victory I don't think is...
