  1. For All Mankind (AH Tv series at Apple TV)

Silver lining, at least we know it's coming. We didn't get a Firefly.
  2. For All Mankind (AH Tv series at Apple TV)

I really enjoyed this series, easily the best bit of AH I've seen in the mainstream media. I hope we get some expanded universe material, i'd love some books showing the Russian perspective and the rest of the Apollo program. Looking forward to season 2.

  4. For All Mankind (AH Tv series at Apple TV)

I thought that was Apollo 21.
  5. For All Mankind (AH Tv series at Apple TV)

Apollo 22 could have been a mission to somewhere else on the moon. Maybe checking for ice at the North pole? I'd kill for a source book that details all the stuff not shown in the episodes.
  6. For All Mankind (AH Tv series at Apple TV)

The show has been pretty good with the butterfly effect so far. I think we might get a Watergateish event but not the same Watergate as our timeline. I don't think we'll see international cooperation for a while, this timeline seems to have a lot more nationalistic dick waving going about. I...
  7. For All Mankind (AH Tv series at Apple TV)

Speaking of changes in this timeline. I wonder how much the womens lib movement will have changed. Surely it's going to be a lot harder to deny women are equal with women astronauts on the moon? That and imagine the generation of young girls inspired to go into science.
  8. For All Mankind (AH Tv series at Apple TV)

I just caught up with the series I'm really digging it. I had a thought
  9. Stagnant Technology.

Technology is often seen as something which will inevitably progress and the march of progress is inevitable. This is an oversimplification as cultures still existing in hunter gatherer societies show technological progress can slow or functionally stop. However could progress halt at other...

  12. Crusader Kings II - Paradox Entertainement (02/12)

Has anyone else run into a problem where they can't declare war in Elder Kings? I'm sitting on a bunch of fabricated claims, on Solesthiem and Black Marsh but the only option I can pick when trying to declare wars is make tributary?
  13. Crusader Kings II - Paradox Entertainement (02/12)

Are the Tribunal playable characters in Elder Kings?
  14. Question: What Indonesian spices grow well on the north coast of Australia?

As someone living in Northern Australia its not all desert. It is on the West coast but from NT east it's not. North Queensland isn't all tropical rainforest. The predominantly tourist areas around Cairns are, further North and west it dry's out considerably.
  15. Guess Which Australian Survived Th Changed...

I'm liking the idea that with the "Colonel of Townsville " I might have actually survived the Change.:D
  16. Guess Which Australian Survived Th Changed...

Nice how did I miss this coming out, though I can confirm there probably would be a fucking idiot in Cairns :D. I'm from Townsville local rivalries and all that, I'm well with in my rights here lol. So what is this an exert from an an incoming book.
  17. Japan Invades Australia: How Screwed Is Japan?

This also really depends on when they do it as well North Queensland changed a heck of a lot over the course of the war. Townsville grew into a pretty big base over the course of the war.
  18. War of 1812

I always get the impression that if the US starts wining in the war of 1812 the British simply actually give some proper attention to the war and the US gets crub stomped. The worse thing that could happen would be the US being sucesful in Canada and prolong he war long enough, that the war...
