  2. AHC: Save a notorious flop

Just found the wiki article on flops, apparently John Carter lost the most money adjusted for inflation. Consider that a gauntlet thrown for anyone on the thread who fancies taking it up. Realistically the only Star Wars movie that flopped is Solo. Its a decent movie IMO, I think its more down...

  5. A Mini by any other name?

I think that producing the Mini in India would have made for a very successful series of sales. Small and cheap, local production would have been easy.
  6. Comte de Dordogne

    French Baden

In the chronology "Disaster At Leuthen" France occupied many German states in the 19th century and then directly annexed Baden. The big problem of Baden in relation to France is the fact that it is difficult to defend, being on the other side of the Rhine valley.
  7. AHC: Make Morocco part of "Europe" to an extent, like Turkey or Russia, with a POD past 1500 AD

Morocco was colonized by Spain or Portugal and became independent after this
  8. For All Mankind (AH Tv series at Apple TV)

Yes, though on a vehicle-scale rather than a personal-scale weapon. The "difficulty" is that there's been no real reason to arm astronauts IOTL, since, well, there aren't any situations where they might have to shoot at other astronauts/cosmonauts. At most you'll see survival weapons on Russian...

  14. Why are the western allies bombing civilians?

This is a terrible moral system, and while it will not change your stance, I hope you at least recognize how extremly fringe and unusual your opinion really is. The vast majority of people would probably react with revulsion with so massivly devaluing the lives of millions of innocent people.
  15. I don't doubt it at all. As I said, they were probably legitimately next in line.

  17. The Third Rome - A Byzantine Timeline

Damn, things aren’t looking good for Rome right now. Also, I find it funny that the Venetians, the people who caused the fall of the Roman Empire, are the ones now trying to prevent her fall

    AHC: Save a notorious flop

I remember watching a video on Treasure Planet, it really felt like that movie was assassinated or something. From what I recall it felt like it was set up to fail by people at Disney.
