The New Order: Last Days of Europe - An Axis Victory Cold War Mod for HoIIV

What about television in Sverdlovsk and Novosibirsk?
  3. Vichy France, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, and Thailand gets the same reputation as Nazi Germany, Italy, and Japan

I don't think Italy has the same reputation as Germany and Japan.

    God Save These American States
Threadmarks: The Bloody Decade: The Anglo-American War of 44: Niagara Front

Crossing the Niagara 1845 meets 1805 In the Commonwealth of Ontario the Earl of Ontario had had enough of sitting on the defensive. The Quebecois had finally shown up for battle and were making a push south towards Montpelier. Now it was his turn to strike but before he could do it the Royal...
  5. The New Order: Last Days of Europe - An Axis Victory Cold War Mod for HoIIV

The state television network in the Holy Russian Empire might be something along the lines of media in the Warhmmaer 40K setting: With laborers cluster in their dorms around the black and white glow of a small communal television that you are not allowed to turn off or adjust the volume of...

    A French New Zealand

I'm sure the folks in charge of running the French Nouvelle-Zélande (or whatever the French would call it) colony would give some perks to lure Frenchmen to the other side of the world. Free passage, a good sized plot of land etc.
  7. WI: Philip II dies in 1199 and Richard I lives until 1215?

I think Louis' mother. And if they've got any sense yes. Idk, maybe he'll paint Philip into being a bad leige lord, and squeeze everything he diplomatically can? Doesn't sound very Richard-like tbh but ya. Unless Richard's able to calm everyone down post John and his taxes probably not. Best...

Franks and Frisians settle in Britan instead of Anglo Saxons

Well, the frisians were part of the settlement otl. There are some other things we need to adress: -where did the angles and saxons go? Did they just die? -what's going on in gaul that shifts the Frank's to the seas? Is there a stronger Occtacia? Are the visigoths doing something right for...
  9. AHC: Rename a country, that unified from a long-described region

Or maybe mataram if the mataram sultanate unites it or maybe for the caucasian state perhaps transcaucasia if all of them are united
  10. A Mini by any other name?

Much as I love the Mini, IMO this is a recipe for killing it sooner than OTL. The car wasn't costed or priced well, & selling under more brands means the existing brands suffer even more competition on a car they're barely able to break even on.:eek: Manufacturing in India for sale...

Vichy France, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, and Thailand gets the same reputation as Nazi Germany, Italy, and Japan

With a POD of 1939, get these countries to get the same reputation and treatment as Germany, Italy, and Japan. Make them as villianized as possible in popular media such as movies and video games and people like Petain and Plaek Phibunsongkhram equally hated as Adolf Hitler.

    The VT-BAM project

Hey, I've been watching your work on this thread for a pretty good while (it's amazing, massive kudos to you) and I had a question: how do you do it? You don't seem to be manually tracing, as evidenced by the ridiculous rate at which you produce these patches. Are you somehow getting QGIS to...
  13. Why are the western allies bombing civilians?

They literally posted "/sarcasm" at the end of their post, which you left out in your quote. But the sentence is so long and complicated, that I am not sure what they were saying. But I think their point is that your analogy(/Hitlers) was bad.
  14. WI: Queen Elizabeth II was gay

    >“Phillip,” *she thought, “utterly uninteresting and not in the least fascinating.” *She bore away her fascination briefly thinking of the kind of husband she would accept. >Mountbatten observed *her and knew he would have to vary his plan. *She didn’t seem unwilling to support the crown or his...

AHC: Rename a country, that unified from a long-described region

So, if Germany is called France, than France might be something like Gaul I'm assuming.
  16. AHC: Rename a country, that unified from a long-described region

No. "Romania" is Romanian endonym. Old Romanian name of Wallachia is "Țara Românească" or "Цѣра Рꙋмѫнѣскъ" in old Cyrillic alphabet
  17. A Time For Greatness: The Alternate Presidency of John F. Kennedy and beyond

McCain shouldn't get criticism for reaching his breaking point after years of torture. Most people would have cracked much earlier.
  18. Lutheran Henry VIII

This would be interesting, since IIRC the grassroots of English Protestantism was Calvinist rather than Lutheran (due to close cultural ties to the increasingly Calvinist Netherlands). The differences to our eyes may not seem that much, but it does still seed potential ideological justification...
  19. The Plantagenet Succession

Earldoms (and NOT all of them) were the highest level for which female inheritance was allowed.
