Remember the Rainbow Redux: An Alternate Royal Canadian Navy

Very nice to see artwork by sailors and military service members in general as it's always a bit of a treat for me. It's a really small but interesting look into their lives abroad and how they spent their free time.

That's the Secret Nazi Mars Base, which is in Antarctica. The Secret Nazi Lunar Base is actually on the moon (Earth's Moon, I think.) (Relieved to see you back by the way. :) )

An Age of Miracles Continues: The Empire of Rhomania

The bright red tassel and cone shape are much too impractical for actual warfare. It's pretty much a bright marker for enemy soldiers.

Would it help in Lenin dies before October? Could you rephrase that because I think you might've contradicted yourself,

That seat map isn’t incredible realistic, but it’s not too bad.

So found something related to Vickers: So Vickers actually designed and succesfully tested a 69mm (12pdr) gun in a Valentine tank. This is kinda what Vickers is pulling with the Victor's 3" gun now.

That could be a good thing as she'd have to be withdrawn for new guns to be fitted so doesn't get sunk at the end of February 1941.

  9. Native Americans domesticate gomphotheres

This is a much more interesting candidate! It looks like Cuvieronius was widespread across North, Central, and later South America. But the last populations survived only in the Andes region. Personally, I think the Andes is a better starting position for any domesticate to spread south into...

    Photos from World War Z

I imagine getting in close when the virus spreads through bodily fluids is a recipe for infection. Max Brooks says it can still be infectious 48hrs after the destruction of it’s host, which is one reason why the dead have to be burned. He actually says dead zeds should be treated as ‘highly...

WI Germany goes South in operation Barbossa

Soviet logistics at the start of the campaign did indeed run into problems borne out of a lack of time to prepare, yes. But even then, they succeeded at accomplishing important tasks (moving industrial machinery out of range, securing and distributing Lend Lease materials, mobilizing an almost...

Given the shorter campaign this time have the guns on HMS Terror been shot out?
  14. AHC: reverse the fates of Eastern and Western Europe

If you cherrypick the forest steppe locations and especially one of the largest fortified settlement there, you are never going to get a fair assessment because most people of course did not live in the largest settlement around. This would be akin to say that the average medieval Frenchmen was...

And here is the map. Though I'm pretty sure that Armenia is about half Kurdish. EDIT: Also, there's this:
  16. For All Mankind (AH Tv series at Apple TV)

A laser would be one option, the likely one given the technology of the 80s. Later they would possibly try something with a camera gunsight linked to a HUD system inside the helmet.

That helmet will not last long in any kind of trench warfare, pretty much screams shoot me.

Sorry, probably no update, I've had practically no time to write this week. Hopefully next week.

A draft proposal by Woodrow Wilson for the partition of the Ottoman Empire, showing a larger proposal for an Armenian state than was later adopted.

Have Pontiac Motor Company continue to be a viable company up to the present

lols . . . I don't think it's that bad tbh but as they say "beauty is in the eye of the beholder". Made famous in 'Breaking Bad' I think the trouble regarding the Aztec and it's sister cars was it was unreliable somewhat. 'BigCAR on YT has a good video on it if you're interested.
