Discussion: What if Edmund, Earl of Rutland survives Wakefield?

Anyways let’s all just get back to the What if.
  2. Place In the Sun: What If Italy Joined the Central Powers?

That was not that serious. Only one of many ideas that circulated that time. Kossuth wanted a Danubian Confederation headed by Hungary, some wanted a Russian prince on the throne, many others wanted the throne for themselves and so on. After actual combat broje out, not one Hungarian would have...

Discussion: What if Edmund, Earl of Rutland survives Wakefield?

From the get go, was what I was referring to. He apparently was the focus of Richard’s attention and Richard pursued him across the battlefield leading him to the spot where he died. He played some part in the death.
  4. Discussion: What if Edmund, Earl of Rutland survives Wakefield?

A 100%, he already had it. And I'm not, Tudor had fwiu no personal hand in Richard's death.

Discussion: What if Edmund, Earl of Rutland survives Wakefield?

Yes but again the chances of him getting Edwardian support was low. It only helps highlight just how much Richard messed up. He annoyed the Edwardians so much they chose to settle for the Lancastrian* claimant rather than anyone else.

What were the odds of him getting Edwardian support? Also if you are talking solely about the two claimants Tudor did beat Richard. And which of two rival claimants lived that day?
  8. Discussion: What if Edmund, Earl of Rutland survives Wakefield?

His odds had totally changed when he was able to gather support from people who believed Richard III to be an usurper swearing in the church to marry Elizabeth of York (or her next sister Cecily if Elizabeth had been unavailable, and that alone tell you how much he was desperate to get the...
  9. The Plantagenet Succession

I doubt that Charles would exchange Italy for Hungary, as having France cutting in two his domains would simply destroy the efforts to keep France encircled, even less for a vague promise and not for a signed treay (and not even then). And Charles was anything but stupid. That part is almost ASB.

  11. A Hippie in the House of Mouse (Jim Henson at Disney, 1980)

Thanks, all for the kind words. I figured this one would get some love, since it's hard to hate seeing GofF and Totoro get their deserved respect. Fantasyland was what I was thinking. It can replace an older, less popular dark ride if space is an issue. Kids love that one. At the very least...

Ottoman Empire & Austria-Hungary collapse naturally?

Peacefully, or violently. I’m curious to what borders looks like if Austria-Hungary and the Ottomans just collapsed in on themselves.
