  1. AHC - Get the USA to intervene militarily in the Iranian Revolution

After the 1979 Revolution was Iran's stance. Iran was the second Muslim-majority country to recognize Israel as a sovereign state after Turkey.
  2. Charles the Bold born a women

This also creates opportunities. You see Henry had a regency council (people who ruled in his stead). They could have kicked Humphrey duke of Gloucester from the council and placed Philip the Good in his place. Humprey could best have been placed in Gasconny (I think). You see his grandfather...

    AHC: Save a notorious flop

There's at least three . . . and their contributions were important! The female officer was the one who transposed correctly what the elderly native said after Denson incorrectly told Brolin what she said.
  4. Roger Redux

As Dreamers Do: American Magic Redux

Hmm...I vote Miramax or Grand Diamond.

in U.S. circa 1990, “nanny state” takes the intellectual space of “political correctness”

We have much more roads, longer drive times and more room for accidents involving drunken teen drivers.

    Sir John Valentine Carden survives.

A 57mm autoloader in the early-to-mid 40s? You know what, I like it. I question the turret layout that would allow the ammunition feeds for such a contraption, but as a concept it's not unreasonable. Actually, after a second's thought I think it might be a pretty reasonable 'light' CS tank if...
  7. in U.S. circa 1990, “nanny state” takes the intellectual space of “political correctness”

@GeographyDude In 1996, Bob Dole said that Clinton was going too far with tv censorship, school uniforms, teen curfews, and tobacco regulation. In 2000, Bush ran against the Clinton/Gore/Lieberman censorship proposals...
  8. Have Triumph Motors continue to be a viable company up to the present day.

I would have only one complaint: dropping MG. If it was at all possible, I'd save them. Badge-engineer the MGB/C/D as a Triumph to begin with? Then badge-engineer the Stag until you can get an MG E/F in service? (I'm going to presume the Rover V8 optional from the start in the C/D, &...
  9. AHC: Texas splits into five different states

What if Texas North of the Red River was added to Indian territory.
  10. AHC: Save a notorious flop

While not the arbiter of all things Woke and that I probably have not seen the movie in decades, I’m going with no, but not for that reason. Looking up the trailer and the plot, I found one definite Indian name in the credits, Eddie Little Sky as Denson, and that’s after a dozen names, including...
  11. AHC: Texas splits into five different states

Would the green state be Comancheria then? OTL Houston was in favor of giving them a chunk of the state as a sort of Indian Territory. I'm not suggesting a truly staggeringly large reservation or anything, more like a Native-dominated US state like the failed Sequoyah proposal. If successful it...

Have Triumph Motors continue to be a viable company up to the present day.

There IMO wasn't really a lot of other options. BMC was a lumbering behemoth that by 1968 had no long-term future. Letting it fail and scavenging the pieces that can be saved makes it possible for Leyland to turn those pieces into something great.

Patton in Korea/MacArthur in the White House

Oooh so many things have happened, Uncle Joe is dead one year early, and MacArthur is the Republican nominee.
  14. A Familiar First Daughter...

POD: 1948 Facing a badly fractured party, Harry S. Truman surprises everyone by selecting former Congressman (now Baltimore Mayor) Thomas D'Alesandro as his Vice-President. Truman hopes that D'Alesandro can help reassure the loyalty of 'ethnic white' voters who he fears might be attracted to...
  15. For Want of a Word – Stolypin endures

Well, the movement of settlers was in fact picking up. From 1890 to 1908, 7.2 million settlers moved to Siberia. Meanwhile, from 1908 to 1913, a period almost four times shorter, 2.8 million settlers moved to beyond the Ural Mountains. From what I understand, the matter is that you assume that...
  16. A more realistic (IMO) AHC: US Metro/Regional Transit as good as in Europe.

I think it would be the first thing needed.
  17. Herr Frage

Patton in Korea/MacArthur in the White House

What? No in-universe reactions to Patton's death?
  18. Have Pontiac Motor Company continue to be a viable company up to the present

Yes, but Buick was introduced into China as a premium brand . Later Chevrolet introduced as a budget brand below market center in 2005 If they decided to compete directly with Volkswagen from the beginning, it would not be impossible for them to choose Pontiac as a mass brand

Romanov Ascendant: What if the Soviet Union survived?

Personally I can see this happening however, if China does establish itself as the third superpower its going to very much shift the dynamics of the world and could even depending on how Europe and its union proceedes could result in the decline of the superpower system. The thing I believe is...
  20. More Helicopter/light carriers in post ww2 period

The US forces got over themselves some years ago, and have been visiting and being visited by NZ forces for a while (the US policy was to punish NZ by not allowing any co-operation outside things like UN ops or Op Deep Freeze) NZ never demanded inspections, but leaves it open how they determine...
