Alternative History Armoured Fighting Vehicles Part 3

I want to get a bit more work with Tanks before I feel like trying my first kit bash given the money I need for a Panther, Tiger I, and T-54/55 model.

Alternative History Armoured Fighting Vehicles Part 3

In a fit of uncharacteristic extravagance, I have also ordered up the base kit for my next project - my version of the 3” GMC M9 TD... 👍😉

I'd be more worried about balancing the thing, the tray and autoloader would add a lot of weight to the back of the gun.

Threadmarks: Chapter Nine: Europe Through The Late Eighteenth Century

Chapter Nine: Europe Through The Late Eighteenth Century Aside from Britain and France, the world’s most powerful colonizers laid on the Iberian Peninsula: Portugal and Spain. By 1750, Portugal was seen as a backward, absolutist state. When his father died, Joseph I took the throne and sought...

Let There be Peace in the Great European Plain: A Story of Teutons and Slavs in 19th Century.

Very interesting start... Well, the only observation that would do... Would be that any German-Russian agreement/entente and even more if after it complemented with one with Vienna... That, even after that all would reach a more or less acceptable agreement on Balkans' borders and influence...

Best of Both Worlds: An IndyCar Timeline
    Threadmarks: Emmo Update

After spending a little over two weeks in the hospital in Atlanta, Emmo was released. He was flown back to Brazil for more recovering and to continue physical therapy. Senna came to visit him at home in Rio one day in January and the two caught up. He told Fittipaldi he would race in his honor...

The New Order: Last Days of Europe - An Axis Victory Cold War Mod for HoIIV

Plus I'm also surprised there aren't any Gumilyov-influenced Eurasianist Groups running around.
  9. Galloway and the Plan of Union: A Saga of a British America

New update. Nothing too significant happens yet, it's more or less a recap of European history through the late 18th century as it will set the stage for TTL's development. Sorry if it comes across as lazy on my end.

Apus of the Ocean: A Timeline Concept

As my people say, more por favor. I want more!

It wasn't an enclosed turret containing the gunner, loader, vehicle commander, wireless set and dozens of rounds of ammunition. The gun crew has all the room it needs, the magazine is separate, the vehicle commander is in a different location as is the wireless set and operator. Yes you could...

Chapter 26: Missouri On April 10, 1861 Missouri voted in favor of secession this was made possible as the state’s Unionist leader Francis Blair, along with the rest of his family, threw their lot with the Confederacy. Union commander Maj. Gen. William Harney tried to work with Missouri...

A Hippie in the House of Mouse (Jim Henson at Disney, 1980)

If the Back to the Future Ride is going to be at EPCOT's Movie Pavilion, then it's going to have to implement at least some educational value. Even Test Track (a veritable thrill ride in every sense of the word) was very educational in its original iteration and under Henson, it's going to be...

I think we're going to have to agree to disagree on the definition of 'turret' (from what I can see, the definition includes protection for the crew, abseent on the RN's Molins mount). Regardless, looking at it, it wouldn't work in the Valiant turret, not without a significant counterweight forward.

Until Every Drop of Blood Is Paid: A More Radical American Civil War

Supposedly, this is what Benjamin F. Butler looked like in 1854. Butler is honestly decent looking in the photo, though I definitely see the start of his drooping eye lids. On the other end of the spectrum, George B. McClellan certainly aged well. You could convince me that young McClellan was...
