Britt Allcroft and Lucasfilm Present: Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends (A BSiC supplement)
    Threadmarks: TUGS (1988-1991)

While Allcroft worked on the distribution of Thomas in the US, David Mitton and Robert Cordona worked on a series of their own. Mainly focused on VHS releases, this series was known as TUGS. I was going to have it be a bit more detailed, but wasn't interested enough. So here's the details...

  5. East first! Europe after a German / CP victory in 1916

No, I did not make a map of Africa. In this TL I do not foresee anything exciting there. Except that Gabon and French Congo go to Germany, in exchange France gets Togoland.
  6. Boldly Going: A History of an American Space Station

Out of intrest, if taking the tank into orbit for possible use was standard practice, what kind of program would be needed to ensure the tanks stayed in orbit?
  7. The History of the Restored Portugal, the Brigantine Dynasty.

You don’t have to apologize about exceeding 5k words, I also exceed them at times, I just find as I stated before, 5k words are a good number to keep the focus of those who are reading, or at least I thought so. I just have to point out that the update is not thread marked and could use some...

  12. As Dreamers Do: American Magic Redux

This makes me wonder how Namco is doing with their ownership of one and a half sports teams. Given their ownership of HBO, I am not surprised that either occurrence has happened. I mean, an in-house movie studio and two then-iconic video releasers under that roof? This is pretty much a textbook...

Didn't they use saffron for yellow dye? Which was (and still is) very pricey.
  15. Sir John Valentine Carden survives.

I've been suspecting a limited production run for the A15 for a while now, the only question is does the run stop early or do you keep producing the A15 just to keep the line busy until something better (Victor) comes along. The A15 design by itself isn't that bad, better than the Panzer 3 and...
  16. Can you think of any way where the CSA and Britain go to war and the CSA doesn’t win, but survives the encounter like the USA did in the War of 1812?

@Jabe Thomas Wouldn't the fundamental issue with this premise be that surviving would automatically mean the CSA won the war? If they survive as a independent nation, they won, even if they are destroyed.
  17. Map Thread XX

Well, there is the legendary (and divine?) Yellow Emperor. The colour does seem to be very important - the earth, the centre, the august (as in distinguished) and radiant - everything any good Emperor should be associated with. So, yeah.
