  1. 1901 and Going Up (A Collaborative TL)

Much Better than the OTL 2008 Detroit Lions & the OTL 2016 Cleveland Browns that went 0-16, respectively.
  2. Warships that survived World War Two and should have been museums!

Yeah... but that's a glorified prima donna. The Kommuna works for a living! ;)

Discussion: What if Edmund, Earl of Rutland survives Wakefield?

Thrown, you should have wrote Throne
  4. No intermediate cartridge as we know it?

That sounds promising although I suspect the non bottle necked .30 Carbine round might have been seen as better from some perspectives.

    AHC: Earlier Industrial Revolution

In other threads people put this idea on the head, first you need higher productivity in agriculture to free up labor, then you put that unemployed surplus labor into manufacturies working for bare subsistence, occasionally below.

We should need a reality machine and ask all the sospects
  7. Boldly Going: A History of an American Space Station

Yes, this may be a slightly more fanciful aspect of the timeline... But that's OK. I get to read about enough aerospace contractor greed and ineptitude in my news feed.
  8. Discussion: What if Edmund, Earl of Rutland survives Wakefield?

Buckingham made little sense. If they were killed by someone who was not Richard my money is on Anne Neville. Still is NOT impossible who Henry Tudor was the responsible of their death if they survived and the pretenders who we know as Lambert Simnel and Perkin Warbeck were really them.
  9. Discussion: What if Edmund, Earl of Rutland survives Wakefield?

No, no one thought the Tudor's would get anywhere near the throne until there wasn't anyone left. Again, Philippa Gregory is a lier.
  10. French constitutional monarchy

Not necessarily. If Angoulême had succeeded Louis XVIII directly (instead of a Charles X interlude), no reason that the French monarchy couldn't rumble on. As pointed out, avoiding Charles X means they don't have to walk through the streets with a green unbrella à la le Roi Citoyen (who, let's...
  11. Boldly Going: A History of an American Space Station

@nixonshead keeps hitting it out of the park with the renders. Amazing stuff! Because of course they are. :)

Discussion: What if Edmund, Earl of Rutland survives Wakefield?

No, she may have entertained the idea, but only plotted to get him on the throne after Richard III’s usurpation.
  13. Warships that survived World War Two and should have been museums!

Still in Commission! It flies an Admiral's flag.
  14. What happens if Rock Island chooses the Christie Route to American armor for WWII?

SNAFUs and FUBARs are as old as warfare, for most of history soldiers couldn't say it without getting punished. I guarantee you there were SANFUs and FUBARs in the British, German, Soviet, Italian and Japanese armies as well.

    Tiberius Gracchus - More Successful?

Perhaps a better solution would have been the Agrarian law as it was proposed by Caesar in 59. A commission of 20, where the proponent himself wouldn’t take part, buy lands in highly fertile Campania for families with 3 children, either from the ager publicus or from landowners who actually were...

1901 and Going Up (A Collaborative TL)

More chart action! I also just noticed that the Billboard chart starts at 1958 and not 1955. August 25, 1958 - Peggy Lee - Fever September 1, 1958 - The Elegants - Little Star September 8, 1958 - Eddie Cochran - Summertime Blues September 15, 1958 - Everly Brothers - Bird Dog

We Also have to remember there will still be a war over Gascony

Napoleon, instead of invading Egypt to get to India, disembarks his troops onto Egypt and pays for some ships to get to India

9 times out of 10, the Ottomans tell them to fuck off and take their racket somewhere else. That's a long way for one army. That's about six to twelve months travel, for which time the soldiers on the shores of the Red Sea have to be barracked and provisioned... not an easy thing on a desert...
