nice Who won though? Trịnh? Nguyễn? The Mạc? Or some other dynasty altogether, like an alt-Tây Sơn?
  2. WI: The Enterprise completes its five year mission (Star Trek survives for 5 seasons)

I'm killing Brezhnev off in early 1977 with a heart attack because he could have died anytime between 1975 and 1982 with his health as it was. However, Andropov takes over after Brezhnev so we will unfortunately have to deal with him for a few years. I could get rid of Chernenko completely as a...

What were the biggest tech and weapon mistakes and missed opportunities of Germany in ww2

The main problem with the idea of the Third Reich using gas on the battlefield is that it opens its shoddy logistical network, which is largely composed of horses, to retaliation. Initiating an exchange of gas would leave the Germans on the worse end of the exchange.
  4. WI: The Enterprise completes its five year mission (Star Trek survives for 5 seasons)

If it's at all possible, could you get rid of Brezhnev, Andropov and Chernenko?
  5. Fact Check Article: Prototype Nazi Nuclear Bombers Were Within a Few Months of Hitting New York

I've read this too, though they lacked the industry to pursue a real program. My understanding is their mathematics were more correct than the germans
  6. As Dreamers Do: American Magic Redux

Oh yeah, and I wonder if KSPO could also run WSU football.
  7. Conservative Democrats in the 1990s?

I think you both misunderstand me. Im not saying the Democratic Party becomes conservative again in the 1990s, I'm saying that conservative democrats themselves see a resurgence. So for a short time they see their numbers increase again, they DONT however take over the party by any means. Also...

    That's what I was envisioning
  10. WI: The Enterprise completes its five year mission (Star Trek survives for 5 seasons)

The election of Muskie itself would be really interesting (I don't think a lot of people have tried a Muskie presidency on AH) but he'd be a pretty unremarkable president unless he somehow passes some sort of expansion of Medicare and ensures South Vietnamese independence, so I can go in that...

  12. As Dreamers Do: American Magic Redux

Dances With Wolves should go to 20th Century-Fox, and The Silence of the Lambs should go to RKO.

Well that is true perhaps in fancyhat’s map Galdan Khan didn’t anger the Qing too much (or maybe he died, idk) and they installed a more pro-Qing khan

WI: Marcus Aurelius dies of the Antonine Plague

Led by who? Avidius Cassius (fun fact about him: He was a descendant of Augustus)?
  15. US recognition of Vietnamese independence

I was gonna say you might need to remove De Gaulle I understood he was big o n keeping the Empire but I maybe be wrong on that. I think you need a different French government that doesn't spit the dummy over its former colonies
  16. What if the U.S. outsourced manufacturing to post-Soviet Russia instead of China?

No, this is wrong. Brazil suffers from a number of geographic disadvantages, whereas the US has the best geography on the planet. Transportation, for example, was always going to be far more expensive and time consuming in Brazil than in the US. In fact, Brazil suffers from a lot of the same...
  17. And All Nations Shall Gather To It - A Crusades TL

I'm not sure the byzantines are going to have an easy time of it, we all seem to be taking their success for granted. There still exists divisions among the crusader princes that could be fatal, and there's still a very real divide among the east and west church, and let us not forget that...

It is your timeline. Which choice lead to the more interesting developments? Go with that.
  19. WI: The Enterprise completes its five year mission (Star Trek survives for 5 seasons)

Now tomorrow's update is critical. Should I give Nixon a second term or should I surprise everyone and somehow elect a President Muskie? I can go either way here with the news articles I wrote in October 1972. Just to let you know, there will be no President Ford ITTL, either Nixon wins and...
  20. Map Thread XX

Maybe, but besides the different color the Qing massacred the heck out of the Dzungars, so I'm a little unsure.
