AHC: Embarrass the Nazis and destroy their legacy

1938, the Allies declare war on Germany calling their bluff spectacuralry as the Czechs defeat the 'army' in front of their borders revealing them to be duds while the Allies march into the Ruhr. Hopefully 1940 collapse

    Vietnam, a unwinnable war?

No, just firebases, within artillery range of each other The big problem with the US, is getting the VC/PAVN into sustained combat Khe Sanh was one way todo that, keeping them in range of US firepower

AHC: Embarrass the Nazis and destroy their legacy

Good point. Perhaps Georg Elser is able to bomb the Putsch Rally in time for Hitler's speech, thus killing the Fuhrer during the early stages of the war. Goering takes over as nominal head of state, but internal quarrels between various high-ranking officials lead to a breakdown of the...

WI: Petain Joined The Resistance With De Gaulle?

Philippe Petain is ill-regarded in France today, for his role in the pro-nazi Vichy Regime. Prior to that he was a fierce French patriot and nationalist- the Lion of Verdun. So, what if, after the capitulation of the 3rd Republic, he made his way to Algiers with Charles De Gaulle, the up and...

  9. Vietnam, a unwinnable war?

Interdiction and expansion (1965–1968)[edit] Further information on the PAVN logistical system in Cambodia: Sihanouk Trail In 1961 U.S. intelligence analysts estimated that 5,843 enemy infiltrators (actually 4,000) had moved south on the trail; in 1962, 12,675 (actually 5,300); in 1963, 7,693...
  10. WI: President, Vice President, Speaker of the House, President Pro Tempore of the Senate, & Secretary of State All Die In Office

Oddly enough this is true in this case regardless of the year too. I was surprised there wasn't some flipping between 1972 to 1886 to 1947 of cabinet members. Could have been a better thread if a certain President or date was given too.

What were the biggest tech and weapon mistakes and missed opportunities of Germany in ww2

In the past, have advocated for a small 10-20 HP Steam engine, able to run off of coal, wood, or other biomass rather than horses as prime movers Those interested can search the forum for my posts on Sentinel Steam, to get the breakdown between a steam truck vs horses
