  1. WI: Willhelm II dies in 1913

That might be interesting. Austria is restrained, Germany and UK split Portuguese colonies as per OTL plan, and Russia continues its modernization trends. Austria is rocked by monarchical death in 1916, Franz Ferdinand legitimizes his children, and rules as a very liberal monarch. French...

And to counter Nega-Egypt there's Omega-Egypt, centered on the banks of the Volga(Vnile perhaps) who colonized the other half of the caucuses and northern Iran.
  5. WI: Willhelm II dies in 1913

He just HAS to be not stupid enough to offer, in summer 1914, the”blank check” to Austria, which may well have been the single most important act which pushed Europe into WWI.
  6. The Tudor Rose over Brittania

The obvious aversion is 9/11, and I’m not aware of anyone in hockey who was a big name who died on 9/11. That said, I trust the author has something up their sleeve.

Res Publica Invicta: The Roman Republic Triumphant

Just because Rome is Republic doesn't mean it won't have it's issues that cause something like the crisis of the third century and we might still have the huns come a knocking and other migrations unless you have plans there.
