    Kaiserreich: Legacy of the Weltkrieg

Wait, was it? As far as you know you just need to use the Yiguadao to defeat the qing and then they turn into the Qing.
  2. WI: Japan never modernizes

White man's burden had little to do with the driving forces of colonization and subsequent decolonization. The former had mostly to do with taking advantage of an unequal military situation to exploit the land for minerals/resources, settlement displacement, or the market potential of a...

DBWI: J.D. Salinger Stops Writing after “Catcher in the Rye.”

His writing in the 70's is some of my all time favorites with the most interesting characters in the English Language since Shakespeare. It impossible for me to even pick a favorite . They are all so good.
  4. Thousand-Week Reich - A 'realistic' Nazi victory scenario

After a quick look at Spain in WW2, it seems the primary reason was that Franco's demands for joining the Axis were straight up impossible. Germany would have to provide grain, fuel, armed vehicles, military aircraft and other armaments, as well as heavy fortification of the Canary Islands...

Patton in Korea/MacArthur in the White House

Well, IDK if a new one, but perhaps, from the Patton dead onward would be a good place to retcon the title and/or to rename this as Patton In Korea II Part-The Mac's Presidency?

  8. Could the USSR work well enought on its orthodox form to be a pleasant place in modern day?

I would agree that WW2 had a huge impact on the post-WW2 Soviet economy, but I wouldn't say the entire Soviet economy was doomed as a result of WW2. The only sector that I truly think was doomed post-WW2 was agriculture just because of how truly awful that sector's history was up to that point...
  9. Largest possible British India?

Probably not, since I don't think independent India would have the power projection capabilities to hold onto such distant territories, especially if they're just essentially exclaves.
  10. Soviets beat Northrop with F-20 idea?

Thanks what kind of BVR weapon are you suggesting for your fighter
  11. What If...Scotland beat England in that Euro 2000 Play-Off?

I'd imagine we'd have either gone out in the group stage like England did (I can easily see us losing to Romania in a similar manner), and if we did reach the knockouts, we wouldn't have beaten Italy. However, I'd like to think, with a bit of extra confidence from beating England (and avenging...

Ethiopia alone will bring the Fascist Empire to ruin.
  15. WI: Free Italy - a.k.a. Kingdom of Italy in exile as an Allied nation

And honestly for me this is the biggest problem, frankly in this scenario Italy is playing on all his strenght and hold all the advantage (plus it's specifically what the army had trained his men for the past couple of decades, so the eternal german outsmarting and outmanovering come out more as...
  16. Could the USSR work well enought on its orthodox form to be a pleasant place in modern day?

I mean, Stalin's industrializations are what allowed the USSR to even get as far as it did - despite the loss of life and unfortunate repression that accompanied it - economically the USSR just wasn't really built to function in a way that would allow it to overtake the USA GDP wise - ideally it...

  18. Patton in Korea/MacArthur in the White House

I'm just wondering, but considering that Patton is dead, and its now a Macarthur focused timeline maybe you should start a new story thread or something? It just seems weird as Patton is not really the focus of the story anymore.

    Keynes' Cruisers Volume 2

I'm thinking that with the Western Allies on their doorstep and the Soviets still some distance off a successful Valkyrie may take place. It may even be staged by Himmler or Goring.
  20. WI: Northern and Southern Nigeria, not Merged into one British protectorate Effects?

Would the Ijaw want secession? They might not want to share the oil with the Igbo.
