The Pale Horse: The Northwest Montana Insurgency and its Aftermath (1987-2002)

Oh no, the NWF is going to commit 9/11 in Toronto.
  2. What if the nuclear Negev Canal actually existed?

Oh, don't worry, it's 'perfectly safe', the explosions are all underground and 'the radioactivity is completely contained'. Trust us!

  4. AHQ: latest moment to reverse Celtic decline

There seems to be a fair amount of speculation as to why the Saxons won such an overwhelming victory--slaying all three of the opposing chieftains--but at least one theory posits that the Saxons occupied an old British earthwork that had fallen into disrepair, which provoked the battle. Seems...
  5. Alternate warships of nations

From what I remember of that source, the support landings in the Baltic was suggested to Fisher by someone else, which Fisher saw as another justification for his ships, and a reason for the 15" guns, but weren't actually part of Fisher's original concept
  6. Alternate warships of nations

The Russians had a design for a torpedo battleship with 4 triple 7.1-inch turrets and something like 84 submerged TT's (most on the beam). Never left the drawing board.

What if NAZI Germany didn’t build battleships?

the bottle neck was building capacity, not dosh. you don't make U-boats out of KCA. I mentally included them with the slips, oops. Not that the dock queens used very much. The production lines for 5.9", 11", and 15" guns weren't the ones for the 105mm guns on the U-boats. yes we'll train...

The New Kratocracy: A Boulanger Coup TL

Is France a first-rate economic and commercial power or does it remain, like IRL, a second-rate power? And as far as China is concerned, i can clearly see France extending its influence to Yunnan and perhaps seizing the island of Hainan It's great to see an update, I hope to see more often !
  9. Viability of a "Boghammar Swarm" in WWII?

Not viable, torpedoes carry several hundred pounds of explosives and make holes below the waterline that cause flooding. Typical 5" US rocket used 7-8 pounds of HE and makes its holes above the water line, can kill people, set fire and destroy stuff, but does not have the ability to let in water...

Patton in Korea/MacArthur in the White House

Honestly it just seems that you are being negative because you don't like him, which it's fine to not like Mac, but he wouldn't lead to a constitutional amendment against generals. Mac winning isn't the Armageddon you seem to want it to be.

    The Forge of Weyland

German Pressure caused Italy to cut back assistance to the KMT, and don't forget, Italy still had a Chinese Concessions of Tientsin, Shanghai, and Hankow, plus a tiny outpost in Peking.

    Threadmarks: Round of 16 2020-21

Tunisia were unlucky once more. Despite a first place finish, they inherited Brazil and were knocked out despite a victory at home. Brazil were joined in the Quarter-Finals by both their south american brethren: Argentina massacring Mexico while Chile inched above Italy with a 2-0 win away...

Could the USSR work well enought on its orthodox form to be a pleasant place in modern day?

Well in terms of sociology, specifically social conflict theory. Though agreed on him having it backwards
  19. Would an independent Confederacy have a national sales tax as its main source of revenue instead of an income tax?

Entirely unconstitutional, indeed. OTOH, they've established precedent that if you don't like what the central government is doing, you can leave, so I suspect some state would, eventually. Especially since states are stronger in this system, both by design, and by the fact there's fewer of them.

Maybe there could be a few other paths for Brittany. For example, given how much of an open secret the Breton black market is, how hard would it be for them to go legitimate? On the arms industry side of things, they could do what Israel did IOTL: build up a strong native arms industry funded by...
