No Kriegsmarine cruisers or modern destroyers

It expires in September 1944. Finland kept Petsamo after the Winter War. It was lost to the USSR in the Continuation War. The Winter War losses:

A Hippie in the House of Mouse (Jim Henson at Disney, 1980)

It's because X1 Mask was a prototype design for Maskman, although creative butterflies could cause it to resemble less like Battle Fever J and more like the actual Maskman designs.
  3. Osman Reborn; The Survival of Ottoman Democracy [An Ottoman TL set in the 1900s]

Awesome development so far. A pity that Japan misses the boat. Also didn't expect Ottoman reforms will affect on China. Tho' Yuan Shikai's dynasty is not my preferred choice for China but this one is quite interesting. Such is butterfly affects. Regardless, a more stable and stronger China...
  4. TL-191: Filling the Gaps

    I did a little experiment looking at increasing the stated canon GWI casualties for the US and CS and multiplying them by German/Russian WWII casualties divided by WWI casualties a while back. This is what I got;

Hellcats vs. 109’s??? My money is on the Hellcats.

A Hippie in the House of Mouse (Jim Henson at Disney, 1980)

I still think X1 Mask looks to old, it's appearance looks similar to those of Battle Fever J. I it would have been better if the original Maskman had used a more original design for X1 Mask.
  7. What if: Apollo 10 landed on the Moon?

I think the scenario assumes the ascent stage was fully loaded. By people in on the plan to land on the Moon rather than the actual NASA Mission Plan. And I was being somewhat facetious.

    Sir John Valentine Carden survives.

Really? But...but... I thought Aussie roadkill made the best motorcycle gloves and jackets! 'Protects you from the road because it's already been there' and all that!
  9. AHC: Largest possible Finnish-American population

The goal of the exercise is as much to get the Finns out of Old Sweden as to get them into New Sweden. And I believe it's less of defecting to locals rather than that the Forest Finn lifestyle was pretty close to begin with. Also, there probably was a degree of going native after Sweden lost...
  10. WWII: German Victory in Battle of Britain, could USSR win alone?

The British were on the defensive, and thus had to spread their fighters over the whole country, whereas the Germans could - and did - concentrate almost all their fighters on the Channel coast. Thus, over South-East England, where the battle was won and lost, the RAF fighters were outnumbered...
  11. WWII: German Victory in Battle of Britain, could USSR win alone?

It was mostly an intelligence failure on both sides. The British overestimated the German forces, the Germans underestimated the British forces. Which meant that during the battle the Germans were consistently thinking they were closer to winning than they really were, while the British were...
  12. As Dreamers Do: American Magic Redux

Probably something educational that is age appropriate for her.

A Hippie in the House of Mouse (Jim Henson at Disney, 1980)

True, but it looks like Magne Warrior only appeared for 2 episodes and the powers in the original show were linked to the villains. Once he was free, he could no longer access them (he never had full control of them it seems). If Bio-Force went in a similar route, then it'd be hard to bring him...

A Hippie in the House of Mouse (Jim Henson at Disney, 1980)

The problem with X1 Mask is that he was only in one episode, so not enough source material to make him a permanent sixth ranger, and his costume seems really out of date for the series. They could have Duo Asuka being brought back using the Magne Warrior powers/armor, which looks better to me...

Germany builds another battleship instead of Graf Zeppelin

Both the Germans and the Finns laid several mine barrages in the Gulf of Finland already by the end of June. Some of this work was done even before the beginning of actual hostilities, and then there were already the defensive minefields both the Finns and the Soviets had been laying in their...
  17. AHC/WI: A Royal Princess marries a guy who becomes the future President of the USA

Her title in the UK wouldn't change, she'd still be HRH The Princess x. For example, Princess Anne was Her Royal Highness The Princess Anne, Mrs Mark Phillips while she was married to him so our imaginary princess would be HRH The Princess Julie, Mrs Joe Biden. If she's the oldest daughter of...

What are some cliches in a Central Powers victory TL?

The Germans did try. The URS was basically trying to replicate the starvation in the UK. It did nothing that lower food oz by 1 and consumption by 0.68%.
  19. What are some cliches in a Central Powers victory TL?

The reverse was never tested. But in these threads it is often suggested the British will never cannibalise their economy or suffer hardship in the way the Germans did.
  20. Place In the Sun: What If Italy Joined the Central Powers?

By the way, do you think the reputation of incompetent Italian millitary of OTL would be reversed once they learned about Italian accomplishment during the war? Sure the Germans help them alot TTL, but the Italian force still actually managed to advance a hundred miles against France in a single...
