  4. The Anglo/American - Nazi War

THAT offer is almost good enough to get Southwest on the phone! :D:p:D:p:D
  5. Operation downfall considerations fail

The trend was running heavy against Invasion by late July. If the typhoon still hits the Okinawa region assembly areas as IOTL that would sent back any invasion until January. In that case it is remarkably likely that no invasion occurs. The U.S. Strategic Bombing Survey (Pacific) found that...
  6. WI: US Has Better Tanks and Tactics In WWII

Well, for one thing the Allies would have won the war. Oops. They DID win the war. If anything the use of the Pershing delays the Allies in the West. They would need to design and construct an entirely new class of LST and LCT since the Pershing wouldn't fit through the bow doors of the...
  7. 1777: Collaborative Timeline

Didn't realize that Ian moved this back to pre-1900. Still quacks like a game, but Ian has last say so back to pre-1900.
  8. 1777: Collaborative Timeline

Looks like a game. Quacks like a Game. Moved to Games.
  9. WW2 Without the Pacific conflict

Without Pearl Harbor the U.S. and Germany would have been at war within a year. Sooner or later a U-Boat was going to hit something that would push the American public over the edge (it almost happened IOTL with a u-boat just missing getting a shot at USS Texas).
  10. The Anglo/American - Nazi War

Ah... Another of those... helpful suggestions. :D:p:D
  11. Japan doesn't attack the US?

The Japanese simply did not understand the American system of government or the differing pressures on FDR. They evaluated the situation through their perspective (something that pretty much every government on earth does to this day) and acted on that analysis. Dissenting voices, usually those...

No. I will get this T/L completed first.
  13. WI US Army Sides with Bonus Army?

More sympathetic? Anyone. All you really need is someone who will follow orders to prevent the worst of the attack from taking place.
  14. The Anglo/American - Nazi War

After I finish up the post war T/L overview (which is, BTW, way more work than I counted on:() I may do something in the Writer's Forum, although there is a lot of... helpful suggestions pointing me at Redux. I think I will also take a couple weeks without a deadline (even a self imposed one).:D
  15. The Anglo/American - Nazi War

HALF of the people who were alive in the USSR in 1939 are not alive in ALT 1960. Most who survived are living hand to mouth. Vietnam and the Philippines send food to the USSR as part of a deal with the U.S. if that gives you an idea of how bad it is.
  16. The Anglo/American - Nazi War

Berlin is still somewhat intact. Not that it matters. No one outside of a Bunny suit will be visiting the place for the next 800 years or so.
  17. The Anglo/American - Nazi War

    Interesting questions aren't they?
  18. The Anglo/American - Nazi War

There will be one more "chapter" in the T/L (rather the book that has been used as the T/L device). After that there will be a couple overviews of this ATL up through ATL 2011.
  19. The Anglo/American - Nazi War

Here is the update. Comments? 60 While the Allied successes in the East allowed them to “liberate” massive amounts of territory from Reich control they did little to advance the end of the war. To end things the Allies had to deal with both the last fanatical hard core of the Waffen SS...
  20. DWBI Gore wins 2000
