  1. How much different would cancelling operation Barbarossa make on WW2

I don’t know. Enough to not run out in 1941. 1942 was the last time they have them be able to launch a serious operation and even then it was minuscule compared to Barbarossa. Without that they can’t attack anymore since september. Hell they couldn’t even check engines during production due to...
  2. WI: Germany does not support Austria-Hungary in WWI?

IMO the allnce should have been set in such a way to be defensive only. Not gonna happen with Wilhelm Ii
  3. Greek style civil war in Yugoslavia after world war 2

Would it be possible to weaken the communists and strengthen the nationalists force for a possible multi-sided civil war ?
  4. What if GB did a USA in WW1?

Trade is only one component of power. In terms of industry, population, and economy Britain was already well behind both the USA and the German Empire by WW1, and British dominance over world trade will continue to slip against both of them as it already had in the decades prior, especially once...
  5. How much different would cancelling operation Barbarossa make on WW2

How much of fuel was captured by Germans in 1941 from Soviets?

WI: Germany does not support Austria-Hungary in WWI?

That is true that Germany's overall position would have weakened post-Austrian disolution, however, wars at this time are not spontanous. Meaning that the UK and US would not side against Germany in a defensive war, as Germany's defeat would empower France and Russia.

WI: Germany does not support Austria-Hungary in WWI?

I mean that kind of thing, can you speculate more?
  8. Mackensen class battlecruisers in WW1

I don’t think Goeben clocked any over 24 knots at any point during that campaign. Engine problems and peacetime stoker complement were one limitation, plus I think 24 knots proved sufficient for the situations they found themselves in. When you say Von Der Tann left behind, are you referring to...
  9. WI: HRE Matthias has a son

Would not be Ferdinand the regent, by law, as the senior member of the House? Ditto for the imperial election; Or Hungary and Bohemia might ask for different regents if not even dofferent monarchs; Or Matthias could design a different regent at least in Bohemia and put Ferdinand out of the games...

WI: Germany does not support Austria-Hungary in WWI?

Couldn't Germany negotiate a ceasefire between Russia and Austria to avoid the unnecessary war to come? (going to war for a crazy Serbian sounds exaggerated, not that it was like the French Revolution)
  12. In this country , it is good to kill an admiral from time to time

    1. Good riddance to corrupt Brazil. Spain's gonna get at least some land from this. 2. Is it just me, or is the UPNG becoming worse than the US was IOTL at the same period in time? I mean the UPNG has backstabbed China, is run by people who are kind of idiots, and might be destabilizing South...

    No 1991 August Coup

The debate about the PRC being communist or capitalist is difficult to ascertain, however the USSR was openly reforming and conceding that it was moving away from the old system, so the Sovereign Republics can be distinguished as non-communist.

The eye tries to move to the next paragraph, but it isn't there. Instead it is a line further down, but the narrative thread has been disrupted and my attention is now outside the story. In Word, do a search and replace for ^p, replacing it with ^l (caret and lowercase L). That will replace...
  15. Mackensen class battlecruisers in WW1

Even under the most optimal conditions during her trials she only reached 27.4 knots, and that involved overloading her machinery to over double its designed output. I could believe her hitting 26 knots at Jutland, though I'd prefer to consult Gary Staff on that, but even a two-knot speed...

Greek style civil war in Yugoslavia after world war 2

Ok. Thx. But I wonder if the alliance breaks up or maintains itself tensely united.

An Imperial Match: Anne Boleyn marries Charles V

Maybe she could go to Poland if Sigismund becomes available?
  18. Mackensen class battlecruisers in WW1

Depends on the angles of approach and you seem to assume the HSF is in a good position to cut corners while chasing the 5th BS. Try working it out on paper and bear in mind visibility conditions. And where the main body of the GF is or the British battle cruisers. It's very, very unlikely...
  19. WI French capital isn't Paris

Wouldn’t London? River deltas are easier to defend and fortify, and France with capital there would probably be more focused on trade and maritime matters meaning a larger navy.
