  1. 'Sanity options' for the Italian army, 1935-42

Some kind of 'infantry's artillery' better than it was the case in OTL is needed. The Brixia will not cut it, better use the Stokes-type mortar at 60mm preferably. Anti-tank guns: the 47mm Bohler was good, but it will need a better shot to defeat decent tanks. I'd prefer the APCR shot type for...

Threadmarks: A Murder in Texas & The Massacre at Birmingham

A murder in Texas Later that very same evening, the Dallas Police Department received a startling phone call from a concerned citizen who claimed to have heard gunshots in his local neighborhood from the house of Major General Edwin Walker, followed by a suspicious looking man running away into...

  5. Alamgirnama: A Mughal Timeline

Will we see reform movement within Hinduism against caste system and untouchability? What the status of four monasteries made by Shankar? Is there any wide scale conversion happened due to Buddhist missionaries? Is mahabodhi temple and other Buddhist sites restored? What is the status of...
  6. What if the InterWar RCN was given the same portional funding as the RAN?

Except that would not be the point. The effect yes but not the point. Within the Treaty Limits there is an unlimited exception for in UK terms sloops. Kingfisher, Shearwater, Egret and eventually Black Swan which in Canadian terms would seem to work well with shipyard capacity and mission they...
  7. How much different would cancelling operation Barbarossa make on WW2

German pilots were getting half the training time of US/British pilots by 1943-1944 because of fuel shortages, just an hour a week in operational fighters. Fuel shortages similarly crippled the Ardennes offensive and other German operations, and sharply limited offensives in 1943. Resource...
  8. What if Margaret Beaufort was born a boy?

Margaret was a woman, he is a man and the head of the Beauforts. If he reconcile with York (at the point of taking a Yorkist bride) he will lose any chance of becoming a leader among the Lancastrians (and if he is a leader of the Lancastrians he will most likely die at Tewkesbury)
  9. A Queen Twice Over: Mary Tudor the Elder Marries Francis I of France

Oh, my goodness. I never once thought that Diane de Poitiers might snag a different Henry, but this is going to be amazing!

When could an independent/unified Ireland happened?

I suppose, but the point stands he would struggle to keep control of Ireland more than he did with England in OTL.
  11. A Queen Twice Over: Mary Tudor the Elder Marries Francis I of France

Queen Marie seems to be a brilliant tactician.
  12. WI: A Casey-like Outcome in Gonzales v Raich (2005)

OTL, in Gonzales v Raich, the Supreme Court ruled 6-3 that under its Commerce Clause Power, the Federal Government could regulate the growing of medicinal marijuana plants for personal consumption in California under its Commerce Clause authority. Notably, Kennedy (who joined the majority) and...

    Horse mounted infantry for COIN

Not proven with large numbers. Takes hours for grazing, when a bag of oats takes minutes. The needs of water and fodder worked out that one horse=10 men for overall logistics. Mules had lower footprint, but you aren't riding those.
  15. AHC: 8 Wives for Henry VIII of England

I absolutely love this. Henry with sons, and yet still too many wives! No wonder no royal woman in Europe would have him.

  19. What were the biggest tech and weapon mistakes and missed opportunities of Germany in ww2

The thing is, those six months do pretty much nothing for Hitler. In the Atlantic it's pretty much the same as OTL, but without operation Drumbeat* (so less succes for the U-boats: no second happy time). The US army only really started doing something NA in november 1942, with operation Torch, I...
