  1. [WW2 AH] - Nazi Acceptance For Russia & Ukraine?

You need to utterly alter the way that Hitler saw the world. Doing that will almost certainly result in the "Hitler who?" scenario where no one has ever heard of him. His hatred of Slavs was deep rooted, close (and related, BTW) to his hatred of the Jews. As an example: His goal was to...

There is a simply glorious alternative to this sort of attack post. It is the report button. Please use it.
  3. Map Thread XIII

Enough already. You made your point. It also has been made clear by others that you are a minority in holding it. Back off of the newbie.
  4. Mass Jet powered aircraft at the start of WW2

Not really. It was proof that the Allied air forces had enough excess capacity that they could literally leave squadrons of front line fighters, flown in many cases by aces, orbiting near an airbase just for the lutz of it all. If the Swallow had been that much of a threat you would have seen...
  5. Mass Jet powered aircraft at the start of WW2

If it is in isolation you wind up with faster and shorter ranged aircraft that are still woefully underarmed. The thing about the late war jets is that they were just part of the evolution of the combat aircraft.
  6. How Many Would Be Killed In An All Out Accidental Nuclear Exchange?

You would see a significant increase in radiation related deaths. The number would depend on what altitude the weapons detonate. If they are impact fused that would be far worse than any air burst (fallout from water bursts can be REALLY nasty). Low number? 10 million early deaths.

    Was this really necessary?
  8. hitler not crazy

If Hitler hadn't be the sociopath who defines evil, no one would ever have heard of him. WW II was inevitable. The end of WW I ensured that. The only differences, besides, hopefully, the lack of industrialized genocide, would be details. Minimum 40 million dead. Nationalities might be...
  9. AHC/PC/WI: Better Off Brazil Politically And Economically

Seriously? Gotta watch out for them Iberians? It is good to know that no area colonized by Northern Europeans has had any issues. All those stories coming out of Africa are just made up right? You are kicked for a week for racism, nationalism, and whatever other "ism" that comes along.
  10. The combined forces of the US and UK vs USSR during WW2 results?

You can never say "don't worry about..." The How is critical. How did the situation develop? How did the U.S./UK forces arrive at the start line? Did the have to fight across half of the European Peninsula to get there? When did the U.S. start to gear up production? What was the...
  11. AHC: Start American Involvement in World War II in the Atlantic

A thousand or so drowned American boys would tend to modify public opinion.

I'm not sure what is up here. I Banned the account pending the member contacting Ian. This may have been overcautious, but until Ian can review the situation that is the best I can do. Do NOT assume that the account was actually up to something, might just be a glitch.
  13. AHC/WI: Texas Secedes, But Does Not Join The CSA

While he was out of line calling you a liar, you do very much come off as condescending here. It may well be a regional quirk of speech, but in common usage it is rather demeaning. Might want to consider that going forward.
  14. Best possible Versailles treaty

Twenty-three month old zombie sighted. SPAD squadron Zombie-1 dispatched. Zombie perforated.
  15. One USAAF fighter?

There was, but not quite the way you are asking the question. VF(N)-101 (orginally VF(N)-75) operating F4U night fighter variants was parceled out in four aircraft sections, starting with Enterprise in February of 1944. The remainder of the VF on-board were F6F.
  16. One USAAF fighter?

German fighters ate the P-38 for breakfast. The early combat version (models F-H) were especially weak at anything over 25K. It also had dreadful internal fuel range. It wasn't until the new radiators were installed in the "J" model that the high latitude, high speed Lightning was born. The...

Be ever so happy I just closed this mass death scenario.
  18. The Twilight Ages

Hmmm... Three posts out of the gate, two of them trolling. Decisions... Decisions... Thanks for stopping by. Banned for Trolling right out of the gate. We divorce you.
  19. WW2 RAF with just these three combat aircraft....

Nah. Start 'em off in a Mosquito. Thin the herd. To actually address the OP - While there were a lot of weak RAF entries, and a hodgepodge of U.S. types mixed in, to achieve this is more or less impossible short of a time machine. Two of these airframes were not in service until two years...
