The A7 isn't cool, but it is efficient at what it does which makes it a good aircraft in it's niche. However it's really not special enough to warrant any massive improvement programmes.
In the 70s and 80s the USAF had heaps of F4s operating in the fighter-bomber role, they had radar and IIRC...
Great ending to Nixon and the accession of Connally now as President. It really felt like you tied everything up really well. I'm very interested in seeing Connally go forward now as President as he tries to put Watergate behind the country. Wondering if he will pardon Nixon as Ford did in OTL...
Something tells me the Soviets wouldn’t want to be the junior member of a partnership with China. Nor would they want to be a captive market to them. Would be funny to see the Soviets and US ally against China. Would make for fun spy jokes about how they once were against each other but now...
And speaking of fascists, here's one that popped up when the previous did - a future map of fascist superpowers arising as a result of climate change (with grossly exaggerated sea level rise, but that's what kids today like, I guess - shakes cane)
My bad, I meant to say the A-10 was the cheapest manned combat aircraft in US service. And those planes will most likely replace the A-10 in the future. But Predator drones weren't available in the 1970's, so it's not an option in this scenario.
The failure of OTL EuroDisney could be chalked up to a combination of local resistance and Eisner's Disney's actions further alienating the French. Though if they were to still consider a French location I'd recommend a more friendly southerly climate than that of Paris.
Geekhis had them build...
As far as I understanded it was supposed to be primarily a federation although I suppose you could consider some parts of it a confederation like Ukraine if they keep thier 1990s rights instead of affirming a new equal federal union (which they voted for but I imagen that the USSR might dust off...
Yeah, I’d say they had the right idea. A more cooperative USSR would be much more ideal than what we got, although I don’t wanna get into modern stuff so I’ll leave it at that. Would be interesting to see how this sort of partnership works out and what it changes.
That’s what got me thinking...
Personally, I believe that an Arthur-like figure may have existed IOTL, but that the King Arthur we think we know is probably a conflation of different people that existed and things that happened in post-Roman Britain. One would need to explain why the Dark Ages that were supposed to have...
I think Southeast Asia has decent potential for empire building. Srivijaya and Majapahit were just a stone’s throw away from some of the more hospitable regions of Western Australia and Arnhem Land.
Speaking of the pacific, with Polynesian seafaring, it would be easy for almost any kingdom out...
Fair enough. I think Jr. could've made Paris more of a success compared to OTL, but it's probably not worth the risk, and since he doesn't have any connection to France compared to Eisner, Spain and Italy easily win out.
Germany was hardly "taking on" Britain, France and most of Russia on it's own. Germany's successes in the first part of the war were very much an optical illusion of space on a map not backed by enough.
